Why isn't "Back to Future II" called "The Song Remans the Same"?This isn't about how i feel about Supernatural...it's probably my favorite show of all time and if i had to pick a favorite season (gun to my head) it would probably be Season 5 and if that same gunman made me pick a favorite episode from Season 5 (first i'd ask why this gunman cares so much about what i like on TV, then) I'd probably pick Episode 13 which is called "The Song Remains the Same" keeping in the Kripke tradition of classic rock song names (and if you don't know that song...that's a bigger problem). So why is iTunes calling it "Back to the Future II"? I mean, yes, it is the 2nd time travel episode and the 2nd time Dean works with his younger mom and he does reference the movie but what's wrong with using the real title??? I was trying to find a guest star's name on IMDb and i kept searching for "Back to Future II" which didn't exist!! What's up iTunes??? Get your episodes straight. It's amazing!!!!This show is one of my favorite show... Since the first episode and the last episode season 5 has been a lot of tension and fun .... I would say that i like best the season 2 and 3 cause basically the season 4 and 5 has been all about the angel's and the antichrist with Sam and Dean .... Still is a awsome show ... SUPERNATURAL= BEST TV SHOW EVERSupernatural is the best show on not only the CW. But on televison as well. The plot lines, charecter relations, and overall quality of the show is amazing. I'm hooked on the show(though some say i'm obsessed...lol). I wouldn't be able to make it through the week if i didn't have this show to look foward to. Can't wait for season 6 to premier on 9/24. AmazingThis show hands down has a huge fallowing and we are going into season 12!! Obviously they know what they are doing. Look at "daytime" it can go for 40 years. No one says you have to go until you want to stay on boys. We all want to see you. SPN forever! This s a series about two very cool brothers, hunting and fighting the good fight against all evil. Each episode so unequally the same. There's scares, screams, massive guttural laughs! The Chemistry on the entire series is like no other. Keep SPN alive! The show has suspense, drama, action, clever plots and also surprisingly accurate mythology behind their shows. All of the legends (besides of course the demons and vampires) can actually be looked up and find the legend. Well, it triesI think the best review I've ever read for this series is "Great concept, poorly executed". As a huge fan of only and all things sci-fi/fantasy (such as the X-Files series, LotR, Riddick, ect) I tried extremely hard to love this show. However, it is poorly written, and despite some good qualities (such as the lead actors being good looking and having great chemistry as brothers, some good plot ideas and some good visual moments) it is pretty much un-noteworthy. I'm trying to be as gentle with my critique as possible, because I do think the lead actors are pretty good even if not the best. At least one of the main characters acts more like a teenaged boy still in high school, and the writers often write in soap-opera style, leaving a lot of extremely cheesey moments. There's tons of sex and flirting, as though the wrtiers are trying to make the show more adult-orientated without really understanding how to do so other than adding more sex and violence. As a result, most of it gets in the way of the stories or comes off as ridiculous. It seems almost every female ever to appear on this show is little more than a sex object for Sam or Dean, which proved to be a complete waste of some female characters with much potiential. If you're just looking to fill in time and not interested in paying much attention, this would be a good show to watch. Just don't expect much, especially as the overall arc is choppily revealed. As you continue to watch episodes you may find yourself getting bored. Even the shows concept (brothers who will do anything for each other) is lost among the muck..Score: 1/5
Sci fi tv at itAs a family we recently bought seasons 1 - 4 and now are catching up on season 5 so we can watch it when it hits the new tv schedule for the remainder of season 5. We have watched all the episodes in the last month and jeez what is there not to like... Drama with comdedy thrown in ( just how much food can Dean get it those chipmunk cheeks of his) Good consistant story line ( the audience is treated with intelligence, we can put it all together, we don't know to be led by the hand) Characters that develop ( wow what a concept for tv and very apparent if you watch all the episodes at once) Fun getting there ( the ending is ordained...I think...but boy am I going to enjoy watching how they get us there) Actors that are easy on the eye ( and are allowed to grow with their characters...the actor playing Dean is a very good actor and the one playing Sam has come a long way from the beginning of the series) The scenery ( filmed in BC, we especially like the homage to Canada occasionly that surfaces athough how many times can they use that same stretch of wooded road - first season and the same hotel room set - I think they have maybe 3 sets and loads of set designs they can switch to match the tone of the episode) By the way with regard to the last reviewer Nov 26 ptrr I too am an avid X-Files Fan, Riddick, etc, etc....too bad you don't like the show....which means to me you haven't given it a chance and not really watched it at all....by the way not all good drama has to have a strong female character...speaking as an older woman...this show does a credible job of portraying men. It shows men who find it hard to communicate feelings with each other even though they are brothers...this show has got it right in that regard... The Little Show that could- best show on TV you aren't watching!!Supernatural has had a cult following since it's debut in 2005, and fans of the show are the most passionate advocates of this show, with good reason. For the last few years, this little show has had huge ambition and creatively has grown stronger from Season to Season, yet has struggled to capture big ratings each week, particularly in America. The show started it's life on The WB Network, and moved in it's Second Season to the new CW Network, placed alongside shows such as Smallville and One Tree Hill. Whilst it's ratings increased in the critically acclaimed fourth Season, The CW did and has done little to promote the best show on it's network, and it has taken passionate fans of this show to practically promote it itself in the US, with much success. Supernatural started it's life in the UK in 2005 on ITV2, and was shown up until last year, where the show was unceremoniously dumped from their scheduling, leaving UK fans to protest for a channel to pick up Season 5, and thanks to Living, and some ingenious Marketing in the last few weeks (CW take note), it made it's premiere last night in a double episode premiere- Sympathy For The Devil and Good God Y'all! I am a huge fan of this show, and last nights episodes did not disappoint. Sympathy For The Devil led into the episode where Season 4's huge finale ended- conveniently constructed to allow for new viewers to understand what had previously unfolded in Season 4 and get up to speed. All the key characters were once again introduced- Dean, Sam, Bobby and Castiel, as well as some newer characters and firm Favourites to the Supernatural family such as Chuck and Zachariah, and a newly formed Meg (Season 1 villain). The episode was dark and disturbing, creating a real feeling of impending doom and paranoia, particularly played out superbly between Dean and Sam, who's underlying trust issues finally burst to the surface. Good God Y'all was a totally different episode- very bright and colurful for a Supenatural episode, and was filmed brilliantly to throw viewers used to the dark and gritty filming off balance. Paranoia was the theme of this episode, with an introduction to 2 more key characters- the brilliant mum and daughter team Ellen and Jo. Some good information was revealed in both episodes, but the most important theme was the destruction of the brother's relationship. Dean and Sam are two of the most intriguing characters in any TV show - Sam's growing acknowledgment of his darker side and his anger issues, Dean's subtle discontent with his brother and painful betrayal at the hands of his brother. These are flawed characters with many trust issues between themselves and the world they are surrounded by, but the show has, and always will be, about them, so it is lucky for us that we have two amazing actors, Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Jared Padalecki (Sam), who have taken two characters, and grown them into people we genuinely care for after 5 seasons, we feel their pain, distrust, joy, fear- they make us feel for them, and that is not easy to do. For a small show, it has everything - genuine scares, amazing dialogue, huge aspirations, brilliant cast and guest actors week in week out, superb chemistry between the two leads and a great team of writers. If there is one show you start watching this year- this should be it. If you don't believe me, watch Dean in episode one compare Michael, an Archangel who has a significant role in the show later in Season 5, with Cate Blanchett without laughing- you will be hooked on this family drama!! Buy it- I promise you will not be disappointed, only for the fact you can't believe you haven't watched the last 4 seasons of this amazing show!.Score: 5/5

Supernatural season 5A brand new season on a brand new channel. Supernatural is one of the best TV Shows, and i have been a huge fan of it since the first season. Every episode in every season is full of dark humor, gritty drama and great scares. Sam and Dean, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles respectfully, have made this show what it is, they are great actors and they work well together. Sam and Dean's relationship is stretched to breaking point in the last season. As Sam's dark demon powers become stronger and more dominant over him, Dean is forced to the side lines. In the season finale of season 4, Sam had killed Lilith and broke the sixty sixth seal. As the ground opens up, lucifer is released from hell and armageddon is coming. Season 5 starts exactly where season's 4 finale ended. The first two episodes couldn't be any different than each other, but they are fantastic and awesome as always. Not only have Sam and Dean got to worry about demons, Lucifer and armageddon, but the angels are on their case too. If you are new to Supernatural and would like to start watching it, then i would advise you to watch it. I am a 22 year old male and i have loved every episode, it is a show anyone could get into. When i first watched season one with my cousin, i didn't think i would like it. But as soon as the first episode finished, i was running to HMV to buy it. It is an incredible show, and i have never been disappointed with any of the episodes..Score: 5/5
