Positively and surprisingly brilliant.I'm a massive comic nerd, so this series was a treat. It's hard to stop grinning while watching it, and it's pretty well-written, to boot. It's mature enough to appeal to older audiences while still being innocent enough to not drive kids nuts (the punchline to an Aristocrats joke is in the first episode), and it references parts of comic history few even know about. For example, B'Wana Beast, a remarkably C-list hero with the ability to fuse animals together, wouldn't even show up in most shows. Here, he tragically sacrifices his life to save the entire planet. Overall, it's one of the most brilliant animated shows around right now, and if your kids aren't watching it, they should be. BUT WAIT! This collection is missing an episode! "The Mask of Matches Malone", an episode centering around all-female team the Birds of Prey, and written by veteran comics scribe Gail Simone, is completely and inexplicably missing from the lineup. Perhaps a certain double-entendre-laden musical number led to this, but for whatever reason, it's removing a fine episode for reasons that its target audience are too young to get. So, bad iTunes. -1 star for you..Score: 4/5

A delightful blast from the Bat pastWith an animation style that recalls the Golden and Silver Age of comics and its endless references to all aspects of DC Comics' rich history, BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD is a delightful introduction to their brand of superheroes, as well as providing more than enough "in-jokes" and tributes to please the hardened comic geek. Played in a more light hearted manner than more recent Batman cartoons, this version succeeds where the overly camp versions of Adam West and Joel Schumacher failed, in that it allows the heroes and villians to stay true to their characters and having the situations provide the humor without the awful "wink-wink, nudge-nudge" sensibility. The creators are also also to have some fun with "lesser" heroes such as Aquaman and Plastic Man, creating delightful supporting characters that could be worth their own series. This is definitely worth your time..Score: 5/5
Pure fun and entartainment!This may not be in a word, "serious" like previous Batman shows, but it's just simply hilarious, action-packed and so many catchy one-liners. Great to just take your mind off things and laugh your head off..Score: 5/5
I love it!I was very unsure about this show. I love Batman and was afraid they would ruin him with this show, but they did a pretty good job. Won't ever be as good as the original but its good. I dont understand tho why itunes has skiped "The Mask of Matches Malone". It was aired between "The Last Patol" and "Menace of the Madniks". Maybe Im just overlooking it, it looks like a pretty good one with Batman thinking he is a gangster...hmmmm hopefully they put it on..Score: 4/5

This show goes back to when it was all about Super Heroes having fun and teaming up, Batman B&B is Awesome for the whole family!.Score: 5/5
Another Great SeasonStand out episodes feature Aquaman taking his family on Vacation and end up helping Batman fight the Penguin, A Bat divide feature Batman splitting in three Including a Slacker, A team-up with the Freedom Fighters in which you can sing along with Batman, and I Paul Dini written episode which Batman teams up with his Father voiced by Adam West..Score: 4/5
Original is always betterI guess one cannot surpass the original Batman: The Animated Series (92-95). I have looked at the others and the voice acting is much better. Conway as Batman and Hamill as the Joker are simply the best! Thus they are the voices in Batman: Arkham Asylum video game. I just hope another Batman movie comes out with the original voices just like Batman: Mask of the Phantasm..Score: 2/5

Too expensive.Season 1 and 3 are $20-30 to buy together. I can afford to buy per episode at $3-4 each for 26 episodes. So we canāt watch the season season. Maybe itās just missing the option but was pretty let down when we couldnāt get the second season..Score: 2/5
