Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) stars as the title character in this film noir–ish series. Veronica used to be one of the popular girls, walking the halls of Neptune High with the rest of the "beautiful people." But it all came crashing down when her best friend, Lilly, was murdered. Veronica's father, Keith (Just Shoot Me's Enrico Colantoni), then sheriff, was removed from office for naming Lilly's rich father as the lead suspect, and Veronica was ostracized by her friends, including her boyfriend, Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn) — Lilly's brother. Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl and she bravely maneuvers through classes, joined by fellow outcast Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III). At night, Veronica assists her father's private investigator business, all the while searching for evidence to clear her father's name and regain her status at school — but what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart. Jason Dohring and Francis Capra also star.

Vastly underrated teen noir TV show!Back in 2006, I started watching Smallville on The CW Network...in which I happen to stumble across Veronica Mars which was in its 3rd season at the time. It wasn't long before I binge-watched Season 1 & 2 because I'd falled head over heels from the few Season 3 episodes I'd seen. I don't even have enought words to express how phenomenal of a TV show Veronica Mar is...fantastic cast ensemble and captivating plot lines that engages the audiences hearts and minds. I still haven't found a teen drama that lives up to the standards of Veronica Mars even to this day..Score: 5/5

This show is the best!!I have watched seasons 1 & 2, and it's strange that 2 isn't sold on iTunes but this is a great show. Kids under 12 shouldn't watch it, but it's really entertaining and full of mystery and suspense c: It's fun watching Veronica progress with her life. Love the show, but..I love love love Veronica Mars, my only complaint is with iTunes. I bought single episodes of season 1 and I would love to have the whole season but for some reason Veronica Mars does not have the "complete my season" option that the rest of my shows have. I don't want to pay $15 for the whole season when I have already inadvertantly paid $20 for all the episodes I bought singlely..Score: 3/5

A Hidden GemVeronica Mars is simply fantastic. This show is brilliant, compelling and witty. It's a perfect mix of mystery, romance, humour and a father-daughter relationship that is a joy to watch. Kristen Bell is certainly an excellent choice for the feisty Veronica Mars who, played by a less talented and less endearing actress, could have been an unsympathetic character or just plain annoying. Alongside Bell is a fantastic cast featuring the likes of Jason Dohring (recently guest starring in Lie to Me with a stellar performance) as the complex character Logan; Percy Daggs III as Veronicas endearing friend; Amanda Seyfried as the fascinating, clearly flawed and selfcentred but compelling Lily and many others. One of the best aspects of Veronica Mars is definitely how all the characters are so likeable - none of them are perfect but that just makes them so much better. The mysteries make the series worth following and each season has a brilliant twist at the end. This is definitely a series to watch, despite its unfortunate cancellation after season 3..Score: 5/5

A Brilliant Boxset!Veronica Mars is a great TV show! Ever since I saw it on E4 for the first time, I was hooked! The storylines are always filled with mystery and intrigue, branching off onto sub-plots whilst always revisiting the main, riveting storyline. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you interested! The characters are great too, Kristen Bell [Veronica Mars] does a brilliant job portraying the leading role and the supporting actors all give great depth to the plot! As it was an American TV show, the majority of boxsets are in Region 1 format, meaning that this is a brilliant, reasonably priced addition to any Region 2,34,5 & 6 customer!
