Series nine of the hugely popular motoring show sees the boys embark on an epic road trip across the southern states of America in inimitable Top Gear style. Along the way they encounter extreme heat, flies and some very angry locals at a petrol station. The Bugati Veyron is taken for a high speed spin in Germany, James May and Richard Hammond attempt to build a space shuttle out of a Reliant Robin and Jeremy Clarkson introduces a Renault Espace to a high speed locomotive — all in the name of promoting railway safety of course.

Episode 1I wish they had the real episode 1 on here. I think the reason they may not have it is because at the end of the Hamster's interview about his crash, he asked that they never mention it again. I've been waiting to see this episode and I cannot find it anywhere! I don't beileve they air it on TV either. Well, at least by not watching it and not airing it ANYWHERE, we are honoring the Hamster's request. Anyway, the rest of this season was great (espically the US road trip!!). Still love Hamster, Captain Slow, Jezza and The Stig!!! Keep on going Top Gear!! <3 <3 <3.Score: 4/5

Why episode 1 is missing from Series 9Episode 1 is the one that featured the return of Hammond after the terrible crash. The video from that test was going to be shown as past of the last episode in Series 8, but they filled the slot with a different feature due to the crash. In episode 1 of Series 9, Hammond was welcomed back to the studio, the showed the crash, talked about how it happened, talked about his recovery, and at the end of that segment, Richard asked that they never discuss it again - which they have not. I believe that episode has been removed to honour Richard's request that it never be mentioned again..Score: 5/5

While it is a great showThey are missing to crucial episodes that makes this one of the most memorable series of this fantastic show about cars. Series 9 on iTunes is missing the very first episode of this series and I can understand why since this was the very first episode that had Richard Hammond back after his scary almost life ending wreck, but some other episodes throughout this show have been edited I'm sure most would be happy to at least see everything else from the first episode and Top Gear's expedition to what was the Magnetic North Pole in 1996 in Top Gear's Polar Special. I want the Polar Special more than the real Episode 1 right now, but if iTunes would at least put those on I'd buy them up in a heartbeat..Score: 5/5

Top Gear Series 9The US Road Trip is the crowning achievement. Absolutely hilarious and the presenters are essentially big kids getting paid to do exactly what they love. Very atypical "car show" and there's always something funny in every episode. The audience must get tired standing the whole time..Score: 5/5

(Rather watch Top Gear on Tv for free!)Apple skipped the first episode, and renamed the second episode and called it the first episode, The first episode the boys welcome Richard back after his nearly fatal dragster crash and take on roadwork in under 24 hours. Cheaper than best buy.Yes so they skipped the first and last episode. But the price is dirt cheap. I walked into a best buy and seasons 10 ,11,12 and 13 were there , they were $45 each . So stop complaining about how they missed two episodes at least they are not charging you $2.00 an episode..Score: 4/5

PleaseeeeeeeeeeI 100% agree with ASE123. One of my favourite parts of Series 9 is the roadworks challenge, honestly, and I cannot find it anywhere else to view and that isn't fair. Yes, Richard Hammond mayn't want the tale of that horrific crash told ever again, personally I wouldn't either, but this isn't fair to the people who want to watch the show in general.
