Eight new strangers find themselves right smack in the middle of the "Who Dat Nation," caught up in the reverie of a Super Bowl victory and the never ending party known as Mardi Gras. Caught up in the rebirth of New Orleans, the roommates discover compassion and romance, while igniting a passion for the city's legendary food and music. The diverse group includes an ex-basketball star, a DC State Department worker, a Florida beach beauty, and a Lebanese girl who leaves her tight-knit family for the first time. Living in a gorgeous Southern style home, the roommates' journey is not all parades and fun: a Mississippi party girl is haunted by abuse from a past boyfriend; a hockey player is determined to stay sober after an addiction to painkillers; and a bitter rivalry between two roommates reaches a crisis point and threatens the entire house.

An addicting showI've only been watching The Real World for the past 3 seasons, but I can say it is one of the most addicting shows I've seen. Of the past 3 seasons (Cancun, DC, and now New Orleans) this season has been my favorite by far. DC was a bit boring compared to New Orleans, and Cancun just wasn't as entertaining to me. This cast is hilarious and fun to watch. The fact that the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras were happening during shooting makes it even better. It makes me wish I was there with the cast and I can't get enough of the drama..Score: 5/5
It's all started going downhill with the first Vegas seasonThe original Vegas cast ruined this show. Now all the cast members do is drink, fight, and hook up with people. YesYes this is the best reality show on mtv! This season is the first ive seen and its really entertaining. Watching jemmye and knight's relationship grow was great, preston is just a beautiful person in general. It made sensethat they did meaningful things like going to the mission. Just loved it!
