Season 8 of the hit drama NCIS starts off with “Spider and the Fly,” the compelling conclusion to last season’s finale that has Gibbs and his team attempting to apprehend a Mexican drug dealer threatening Gibbs’ father. Future episodes feature a kidnapping at a school ("Worst Nightmare"), a Marine involved in the shooting of an intruder during a home invasion ("Short Fuse"), a drowned petty officer ("Royals and Loyals"), a triple murder at a radio station that leaves a Navy commander dead ("Dead Air"), and the return of Tony’s father ("Broken Arrow").
NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it's a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant, whose skills as an investigator are unmatched, leads this troupe of colorful personalities. Rounding out the team are Anthony DiNozzo, an ex-homicide detective whose instincts in the field are unparalleled and whose quick wit and humorous take on life make him a team favorite; the youthful and energetic forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, a talented scientist whose sharp mind matches her Goth style and eclectic tastes; Caitlin Todd, an ex-Secret Service Agent; and Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate whose brilliance with computers far overshadows his insecurities in the field; Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all, and he's not afraid to let you know. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

NCISThe show is absolutely great but I can understand why 60 bucks for the HD and 40 bucks for the standard is a little too expensive. Make it like 50 bucks for the HD and 30 for the SD or somthing like that so more people will buy it. But other than that It was a great season. and maybe have special offers every once in a while. But other than that it was a pretty great season I have to admit!.Score: 4/5
OUCH!!!!Wow. Love the show, have all 7 seasons. Only paid 27.00 for Season pass last year. Who can afford 60.00. Double the price. Hopefully no one will buy the season and they will lower the price. Until then will just get it for free on CBS website..Score: 3/5

A product that's outlived it's lifecycleAs a previous NCIS fan I cannot believe the positive reviews. This series clearly marks the end of this programme. The actors are all now multi-millionaires and have given up acting only to insult our intelligence with childish plots and laughable acting - wish I had a computer like McGee's! Duh-huh....Score: 1/5

Ncis rocks!!!!!!!I <3 ncis And for those who wonder where the other two episodes not yet out although they should be out shortly. Although it would be aprox. £60 to buy all 24 episodes (although not all of them are out) in iTunes but it costs around £30 to get the box set from most retailers and the price will probably go down to £15 by Christmas...........Score: 5/5
