Really Accurate InfoHaving served 9 yrs as a Green Beret, doing 3 yrs in Iraq (2003-2006) and 2 yrs in Afghanistan (2007-2009) and traveled to more then 20 countries, I can ultimately tell you that this brought back a lot of memories of Special Forces Assessment Selection. Of course there is a lot more training involved in earning your Green Beret, but Selection is where it starts. My Selection class started out with 221 candidates and only 15 of us graduated and earned our berets. A lot of people who pass Selection have no idea but the training is only going to get a lot tougher and the candidates in this show are in for a beating they have never recieved before during Prisoner Of War training or SERE School.
