Luke faces pressure at the prospect of becoming QB-1, Billy learns some surprising news from Mindy, Becky starts a surprising new job and Tami is caught off guard by Julie’s plans. And when it’s time for Tim’s parole hearing, family and friends return from seasons past to lend their support and help Tim reassess his life. Will the Lions go state? Will the coach leave the team? That may be the least of the town’s worries in the powerful series finale that culminates in a true championship ending to the popular show.

I'm not a big fan of football, but I loved the football in this show, and the lives and struggles of ordinary Americans, inspired by a dream and a common goal. This is ultimately a story about the difference one man, or woman can make. The actors are excellent, the stories believable and even the ending was done well.
