A new comedy series from executive producer/writer Liz Meriwether (“No Strings Attached”), New Girl features a young ensemble cast that takes a fresh look at friendship.After a bad break-up, Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel) needs a new place to live. Schmidt (Max Greenfield) is a hustling young professional who’s pretty proud of his own abs. Winston (Lamorne Morris), is an intensely competitive former athlete who doesn’t know what to do next. Jess also meets Coach (guest star Damon Wayans Jr.), a personal trainer with a bit of an anger problem. Rounding out the group is Jess’ childhood best friend, Cece (Hannah Simone), a model with a killer deadpan. The fivesome realize they need each other more than they thought they would and end up forming a charmingly dysfunctional – or strangely functional – family.

Go Watch The Big Bang Theory Instead.This show had its funny moments, but what can I say? I only saw the pilot. Thank goodness it was free. This was the stupidest thing I have ever watched. The pilot felt like it was too forced, like they were trying to be funny when they couldn't. All the jokes, all the dramatic acting, all the stupidity. What is this? Disney Channel meets The Office? Not funny at all. I don't know if the creators thought they were developing a Scrubs-like show with the camera work, but it stinks. Big Bang Theory is funnier. Their nerdy references are less forced in that one. I like Zooey Deschanel, and I think she is very talented. But she needs to do better projects. So far, I don't see this going on too long..Score: 2/5
Love this series!I'm a strong critic of American comedy and can't stand the majority of American sitcom but this series makes me laugh...it's funny quirky, interesting and I like that there are some real moments folded into the goofiness which grounds the show and keeps it from becoming over the top. I am also glad they toned down just a bit the quirkiness of the main character, Jess as the series progressed as I do think it was walking the line of being too much...now it's just right and I look forward to many more seasons!.Score: 5/5

Only 6 episodes...andI'm hooked!!!! This show is HILARIOUS. Simply put. The writers got it exactly right.. the little quips are hilarious.. and after getting rid of "Coach" from the pilot the characters mesh perfectly. Can't wait for more episodes. Laughed out loud at EVERY single one. Love how quirky the Deschanel sister's are and I'm glad Zooey has her own show now too.....Score: 5/5

Absolutely Fabulous!!!This TV show is one of the best I have seen for a very long time. Witty, funny, sarcastic and quirky best describe it and i hope the show continues for many seasons to come. The only problem I have is the price, personally, I think £2.49 per episode for less than 22 minutes is quite over priced and £39.99 for a season pass is quite astronomical!!!.Score: 5/5

£39.99Does this purchase update itself? Because is showing £39.99 for series one, episodes 1-11. But there are like 20 episodes in season one, and other people are saying they can get 14 episodes for £39.99. In england we re only up to episode 11. So what, do I buy this then it keeps adding more episodes in like an update? if so then ok that's reasonable. If not then sort your pricing out iTunes!!! £39.99 for 11 episodes, that's appalling. Big Bang Theory minus the science!This show really reminds me of The Big Bang Theory, its the same in every way except the characters are less geeky. Not as funny as The Big Bang Theory but you can't really compare the two shows as this is only in its first season. This really is a great tv show that can cheer you up when you're in the worst mood.
