I started watching this show less than 3 weeks ago and I have already watched all of the first 6 seasons and I'm starting on the 7th season!! THAT IS HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS!!!! 💚💙💜💚💙💜
MIssing David. The 4th Season was the last GREAT season. The show, writing and all, is losing its brilliance and luster. Shall we say, it needs a doctor? Yes lame - but so is the show now. The Ponds' story is tedious and boring. Thank goodness for the two hearts because one of them is failing.
Ever since watching the Eleventh Hour, I knew Matt would be my Doctor. I love this season because its centered around the Ponds/Williams. They (including River) are my favorite companions, hands down. The 6th season in whole is my favorite, but I especially love this half!
Who doesn't like doctor who!
The first one presented an interesting explanation for how Amy came up with the name for her missing daughter. And an excellent means for getting the Doctor's attention. Now I want to know where they got the car she was driving......
Ok look if you are in UK then the series is on your television. If you are in let's say USA then we here in USA must wait for the episodes to come to us and it can take weeks to come to us leaving us behind those in UK. So If you are waiting for it to come on the television in USA then you I think you can wait a bit longer for it to appear on iTunes. Recall this that HQ of iTunes is in California, USA. So learn to be patient….lol. After all I learned lots of patience when Apple went updated from their older Operating Systems to new Operating Systems in the past so patience should not be foreign to those of us that use an Apple Computer. :-). Besides like one of the others who commented on the season pass thing "carefully read" what you are paying for. As in the computer industry RTFM! For those that might not understand RTFM it means Read The F***ing Manual.
Doctor who has sci-fi fantasy and anything else you could ever want!! Best show ever
Brilliant. Enough said.
i love david but think this doctor is better it gives life in to the show
I love this show. Ever since season six began I was trying to figure out how they could possibly even think of letting him die. Yet I have come to understand the basics of these so called fixed points in time. But at the same time once I saw the episode "Let's Kill Hitler", I saw the one possible way of rewriting future history. While I had still been terrified the closer we drew to that final confrontation, I at least still had hope. I am so glad to see my hope and idea had been justified. Yea!!
Brill series. Hope it continues for a long time to come :)
This show is brilliant! And no i'm not nuts for loving the 5 and 6 series because the doctor changes, he has to, He's a time lord. Even tho people still want to bring David back, they could for the 50 anver. Believe me i was sad that David Left, and i even cried at both when i heard he was leaving and when he regenerated (more on this one), but when matt came on i was all like, what's this doctor going to be like? I know we can have choices on are favorite doctors and different opoins, but when the doctor changes the show changes with him. Don't diss the show. it's great in many ways and i love it even if it changes to the extreme. Any true doctor who fan would know that he regenerates. We just have to live with it.
Seriously, since the start of the 5th season, I have begun to lose faith in the Doctor Who series. I just feel like this series was entrusted to people who don't really appreciate what Doctor Who is about. Don't get me wrong, I love Seasons 1-4 (and a lot of the classic stuff too), but the writing and acting has just gone down hill in a very rapid fashion. Honestly, if you actually think that this is as good as any of the episodes from seasons 1-4, then I think you are nuts.
Doctor who was and still is my absolute favourite show, but only the stuff with Eccleston and Tenant. I used to look up at the clock and say 'aww, there's only 15 more minutes left'. Now I say, 'aww, I have to sit through another 15 minutes of this!'. First of all, let's kill hitler had nothing to do with hitler. It was all about river's first minutes after her rejeneration into what she looks like now. There was no action, suspense, or, well, anything!
One word!!!! WOW!!!!
It's been at least a couple hours since the first episode aired in North America and several hours since it aired in the UK, so why the heck can't I download it already? It should be ready to download the same time it airs on TV in each user's time zone.
The Girl Who Waited is available for download on iTunes if you want to buy it individually but if you bought the Season Pass you're out of luck it is Monday and you still can't download it! What's the point of a season pass if passholders have to wait forever to download their shows???
The show is awesome, but when I buy a Season Pass, I should get every show immediately - not after it's for sale to others. Season Pass holders pay up front and get hosed. If Apple fixes this, then 5 stars.
Agreement with V Watcher, this is ridiculous, I guess maybe I'll cancel my iTunes and put that money toward cable; I always said Apple was better than the cable company, but maybe I'm wrong.......
Why can't I [as a season pass holder] get the episode when it is available to other non-pass people? That does not make sense to me. It upsets me so much because I LOVE this show. grrr... iTunes! Not doing this again.
It's Sept 9 so I made the mistake of thinking Part 2 of Season 6 would now be available, in spite of the review at the end of August. Wrong! Two episodes into the "part 2 season" with another episode airing tomorrow night, there's still no download available. Not cool, Apple. The episodes themselves are wonderful, fascinating time twists and unexpected turns, but part of the idea of buying a season (or half a season, another not so good move) is having the episode available shortly after it airs. Update: All episodes to date were available later in the day....still don't like the two half season set up, but the plot line is great and just keeping better. Worth it even after some aggravation.
DO NOT QUESTION APPLE ON THE AVAILABILITY OF THE SEASON PASS EPISODES. I sent a support request to Apple because it shows that the episode is available but I couldn't download it. Apple's response was to cancel my Season Pass and tell me I had to wait 2 weeks before I could order it again. Now I am stuck waiting for the new episodes all because I asked to get the episodes for which I paid.
First of all, I love Doctor Who. There would be five stars for that alone. The service, however... Downloads need to be consistent, as some of us are college students who have specific time slots when they can get all of their friends together at the same time for some Who Time. When things aren't available for download in time then things get sticky.
I know I'm not the first to say this, but why on earth did I buy a season pass when I can't watch a new episode???
Love the show but not the Season Pass! Why can I see that the new episode is available and yet as a Season Pass holder I don't yet have access. I'm not asking for early download, but come on, if I can see it on the show page then I should be able to download it!
I notice a few people complaining that they haven't gotten any of the part 2 episodes yet. You may not have noticed, but part 2 is a separate purchase from part 1. I bought the pass and the episode has been available within eight to twelve hours of broadcast thus far. So, to sum up in a meme: there's your problem. As for the show, it has been great thus far. I think they are moving towards a split between the Doctor and Amy & Rory. Sad, but I think it is leading to The Doctor and River companioning. Should be fun.
