Not really a chip off the old blockDon't get me wrong. I love Doctor Who. It was my favorite TV show of all time, but once David Tennant left, the writing has just been awful. I love the characters in every season so far and the mysteries of space are equally as interesting as they were in the previous seasons, but the classic Doctor Who feel is gone. (Not back in the 1950's Classic Doctor but Season 2-4) Whereas there used to be clearly "bad guys" and "good guys" the newest seasons ALWAYS try to see the better side of the evil aliens and its getting pretty annoying. Gone is the thriller sense where the doctor is running form a presence that wants him dead. Now, he's more of a detective who solves a lame mystery. (For instance "The Girl who Waited" was just awful in that sense) I was hoping that after the god-awful 5th season they would take a turn for the better. This season does slightly, did but it doesn't even compare to the brilliance of Seasons 2-4... If you're a die hard Doctor Who fan like me, you'll watch these with some enjoyment, but be filled with nostalgia for the old ones....Score: 3/5

Worst season everI have been watching Doctor Who since the 1970's, and am sorry to say, this year was the worst season ever. Stephen Moffat, while a brilliant writer, is a terrible director. He's managed to turn a cultural icon of sci-fi into the sort of claptrap soap opera that low-IQ housewives enjoy. And yet, fans of soap operas wouldn't understand this either. Waiting? That is your biggest complaint. Get over it.Ok look if you are in UK then the series is on your television. If you are in let's say USA then we here in USA must wait for the episodes to come to us and it can take weeks to come to us leaving us behind those in UK. So If you are waiting for it to come on the television in USA then you I think you can wait a bit longer for it to appear on iTunes. Recall this that HQ of iTunes is in California, USA. So learn to be patient….lol. After all I learned lots of patience when Apple went updated from their older Operating Systems to new Operating Systems in the past so patience should not be foreign to those of us that use an Apple Computer. :-).
