The CW’s number-one series continues for another season of epic romance, suspense and a bloody good thrill ride. Based on the best-selling book series, The Vampire Diaries is the story of two vampire brothers, obsessed with the same gorgeous girl, who are battling to control the fate of an entire town. Last season, the appearance of the vengeful Katherine Pierce threw a wrench into the love triangle between Stefan, Elena and Damon, and the other residents of Mystic Falls were forced to choose sides as they fell victim to a new breed of danger. Stefan and Damon were later met with their greatest challenge yet — the arrivals of Elijah and Klaus, two of the Original vampires. Season three opens the door to learn more about Klaus and the Original Family as his motives for wanting Stefan on his side are finally revealed. As Stefan sinks deeper into the dark side, Damon and Elena struggle with the guilt of their growing bond, even as they work together to bring Stefan back from the edge.

I was a huge fan of the show but...The plot is just becoming so convoluted and frustrating. Honestly, it's been going downhill for some time now but I kept watching because Damon is gorgeous. But I stopped watching mid-season because it got so frustrating. It's like the writers had a million different ideas but couldn't decide which one they liked best so they decided to squeeze ALL of their ideas into one series and it's not working. There's no fluid plot here anymore. The plot changes every few seconds and they're adding characters left and right, it's hard to keep track of all of them. I don't have patience for unclear plots. PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!!!!!To everyone out there who is a Vampire Diaries fan, there is something really important you need to know! This isn't about the TV show, it's about the books. Many of you may not know this, but Alloy Entertainment cheated the author of the vampire diaries, L.J. Smith, with a contract that she signed years ago, and they just fired her from writing her own series. If you bought a book with a red book cover, and it says: "created by L.J. Smith," then it isn't her book. It's written by a ghostwriter who had never even heard of the books before they were hired. We the fans are being robbed of the real characters that we love so much. If you love Damon (and I know most of you do), you should be even more enraged, because Smith was going to give him a happy ending, but the ghostwriter won't. Alloy is insulting us by thinking we wouldn't notice, but I plan on doing everything possible to get the word out, because I love this series, and they took it away. We can't stand for this. We have to DO something. ANYTHING! Write a letter; make a phone call; sign a petition; use the power of the Internet. Let's show Alloy that they are messing with the wrong group of people. Season 4As we are actually getting this season aired on uk tv only 4 days after it is on us tv there isn't really much point waiting for it to be put up on uk itunes.
