You can’t get manlier than Mike Baxter (Tim Allen). He loves to have adventures while he’s traveling for work and, of course, he drives a pick-up truck. But Mike is about to find out that it’s not a man’s world anymore. While he might be king of the hill at work at an iconic outdoor sporting goods store, he’s the odd man out in a home dominated by his wife and three daughters. After being a stay-at-home mom for years, Mike’s wife, Vanessa (Nancy Travis), recently returned to the workplace and was quickly promoted – much to the dismay of her primarily male co-workers. Now that Vanessa’s work load had increased, Mike is pulled into more hands-on parenting than ever before.

Finally..... a good sitcom.It is so nice to see real true-to-life comedy. He is hilarious. He truly has the man thing down to a science. The chemistry between him and his girls is priceless. My husband, whi laughs at virtually NOTHING was almost rolling on the floor for both of the first episodes. YEAH!!!!! Something to bring some laughter back into my house besides my crazy kids! A winner amongst so many losersLet's face it - a lot of TV is crap, crap, crap. Filthy, vulgar garbage. Tim Allen and cast rise above the junk and give us a show that is so entertaining, each episode is so funny and worth watching several times through..Score: 5/5
It has its moments and then no so much.You may say, "Hasn't he done this before? (Home Improvement) Yes and no. This show evolves around a man raising three girls rather than three boys. He is the last man standing. Overall, the show is compelling to watch. Funny to laugh at because he seems to capture today's Dad — who has girls. The pilot, as all pilots do, started out shaky. I am glad to see that the emphasis on "Mom needs a drink." "Mom hasn't drank enough to handle that." seemed to be short lived and it gone. The Mom doesn't have to be the strong character but she also doesn't need to be the weakest link either. There have been a few episodes here — Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Last Halloween Standing — that keep this show from being a completely Family-friendly show though, so parents… be warned. Otherwise, have a laugh with Tim..Score: 4/5
