Atlantic City, 1920. When alcohol was outlawed, outlaws became kings. Steve Buscemi heads up the cast as Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson, the city's undisputed czar who is equal parts politician and gangster. With illegal alcohol opening up lucrative opportunities, Atlantic City becomes a major hub of bootlegging activity as Nucky and his inner circle preside over notorious backroom politics, vicious power struggles, a constant onslaught by the Feds, and Nucky's own insatiable appetite for women, profits and power.

Where are our episodes, iTunes?It's been a couple of weeks since I purchased/paid for a season 1 season pass and I've yet to be able to download/enjoy a single show episode. Just a heads up: for now, none of the actual show episodes are available to download, so I'd recommend holding onto your funds until Apple/HBO make them available..Score: 1/5

One of the bestVery well done show and highly under rated. Lots of drama, conflict, and no shortage of skin at times either! If you really pay attention you'll even learn a thing or two. They really did their homework here. This is also the first mob style production that's included Cincinnati into the prohibition era, and put the link between Al Capone and Cincinnati. HBO struck gold here and I'm hooked!.Score: 5/5

Star is for the $47 price tag not the showI like HBO but I'm not paying $46.99 for one season of one show. There are too many other good shows. I give it a one star b/c of the price. I gave up cable so I saw a second season episode and loved it. Figured I'd get the first season off here and then I realize if I actually bought the shows off iTunes I'd lose out by a lot!! HBO needs to drop their prices and watch how many more people download their shows legally and make a move to rule the internet. Thats how to survive. Screw off HBO - too expensive and no current seasonsToo expensive at $4 per episode - which is not Apple's fault, the blame rests solely on HBO. Apple strived to keep ALL television shows priced at $1.99 per episode, but back in 2008 HBO demanded they be able to vary their pricing. HBO is the reason that EVERY (not just HBO content) TV show on iTunes is not just $1.99. Plus, HBO doesn't even offer current seasons! That's garbage and I'm taking my money elsewhere.
