“Pay attention when I’m talkin’ to ya, son!” Foghorn J. Leghorn, the loudest mouth in the South, rules the roost in this exclusive collection of 17 Looney Tunes shorts. The ever-courtly barnyard banterer always has something crow about in these rarely seen cartoon classics. Drawn and directed by Robert McKimson and voiced by the incomparable Mel Blanc, this unforgettable collection follows Foggy’s funny farmyard adventures as goes claw to paw against his nemesis, the Barnyard Dawg. But, there’s also high-flying fun as the Fogster faces down a pair of Chicken Hawks “Dixie Fryer,” fawns over Miss Prissy in “Lovelorn Leghorn,” feigns being a father figure to Egghead Jr. in “Feather Dusted,” and fights the famous Kid Bantry in “Sock-a-Doodle-Doo!” Also, included in this cartoon carton of animated eggs is Leghorn’s last Looney Tunes short, 1963’s “Banty Raids,” where FJL deals with a beatnik rooster with an eye for the hens. Birds of a feather laugh together with Foggy and Friends!

Foghorn Leghorn | My FAVORITE cartoonWithout revealing my age, I will state unequivocally that Foghorn Leghorn is my favorite cartoon. None other from today’s time could compare. I purchased all of his collections on iTunes and watch them often. “Boy, I say Boy.” Foghorn never disappoints with the hijinks, quotes, and laughs. If you want some wholesome laughs and funny quotes, look no further than my favorite ol’ pal Foghorn Leghorn. You will NOT be disappointed!!.Score: 5/5
Hilarious!Created by Robert McKimson, Foghorn Leghorn debuted in 1946's "Walky Talky Hawky" as the chicken that Henery Hawk was trying to catch, but Foghorn stole the show with his loudmouthed Southern accent (loudmouthed, that is). Foghorn continued to play this role in a few more cartoons, including "All Fowled Up" in this collection, but McKimson eventually came up with new foils for the character, including the boy genius in "Little Boy Boo" and a fox in "Fox-Terror". Foghorn was also courted by Miss Prissy in the romantic comedy "Lovelorn Leghorn". It would be an injustice, however, to claim that these shorts are rarely seen as the summary claims. They may not be so familiar to many of today's kids and teenagers, but most of the rest of us have grown up seeing these and most of the other Looney Tunes shorts on children's television (the early shorts with Bosko and the World War II-themed shorts are much better examples of "rarely seen" Warner cartoons). However, these classics can now be enjoyed by this generation of children and anyone else who is interested..Score: 5/5
