Teen Wolf, Season 2 Release Date and Synopsis

“Teen Wolf” is a sexy, suspenseful drama about transformation set against the backdrop of contemporary teen life, with a forbidden, romantic love story at its core. In the first season, Scott McCall was an ordinary teenager until one strange night a vicious bite forever changed his life. Season one concluded with Scott caught in the middle of a war between hunters and werewolves, but discovering one last clue allowed him to enlist both friends and a previous enemy in order to stop the mysterious killings and win back Allison, the girl he loves. Season two begins when a new member of the Argent family arrives in Beacon Hills, and Scott and Allison are forced to continue their blossoming romance in secret. At the same time, Derek Hale, obsessed with gaining strength as a new Alpha, begins recruiting for his pack, including newly-bitten Jackson. While Derek's final goal includes bringing Scott into his fold, the Argents have begun molding Allison into a skilled werewolf hunter. Season two, which will feature 12 hour-long episodes, stars Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Dylan O'Brien as Stiles, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, and Colton Haynes as Jackson Whittemore.

Peter, infatti, comparendo nei sogni e nelle visioni di Lydia, riuscirà a persuaderla a resuscitare il suo corpo. Intanto durante il funerale di Kate Argent compare Gerard, nonno di Allison. Derek si crea un branco formato dai tre studenti Isaac Lahey, Erica Reyes e Boyd e si allea con Scott per sconfiggere il Kanima, una bestia dalla pelle di lucertola che continua ad uccidere persone. Con l'aiuto di Allison si scopre che il Kanima è Jackson e che la bestia cerca un padrone che gli dica le vittime da uccidere. Anche gli Argent scoprono la nuova bestia assassina e, con l'aiuto di Gerard, provano varie volte ad ucciderla. Scott riesce a scoprire chi controlla il Kanima, Matt, rimasto vittima di un annegamento nel 2006. La squadra di nuoto l'aveva lanciato nella piscina e Matt non sapeva nuotare, perciò ha fatto uccidere i membri della squadra di nuoto dal Kanima che infatti ha le stesse paure del padrone, in questo caso dell'acqua; ciò ha portato Scott sulle loro tracce. Scott e Derek vogliono occuparsi di entrambi ma Gerard persuade in privato Scott a lasciare a lui il compito di uccidere Matt e il Kanima, dicendogli che in quel momento i suoi amici avevano un grande bisogno di lui. Gerard voleva uccidere Matt per prendere il controllo del Kanima e poter così curarsi dal tumore diventando un mannaro; a sentire la conversazione, però, c'è Derek, che si stupisce del comportamento di Scott. Gerard porta Matt in un fiume e l'annega. Ad assistere di nascosto alla scena c'è Peter Hale, che rimane sbalordito quando Gerard tende la mano al Kanima, diventando il suo nuovo padrone. Derek morde Victoria Argent, che stava cercando di uccidere Scott, per via della relazione con la figlia. Non potendo accettare di vivere da licantropo, la donna chiede al marito Chris di pugnalarla. Quando la notizia giunge ad Allison lei decide, sobillata da nonno Gerard, di vendicarla uccidendo Derek: inizia catturando Boyd ed Erica per consegnarli a Gerard. Quest'ultimo comanda a Jackson il suicidio per farlo rinascere come Kanima alato e con l'aiuto di Allison riesce a catturare Derek. Con lui ci sono anche Scott, Chris e Peter. Gerard svela a tutti il suo piano: ha intenzione di trasformarsi in licantropo poiché sta per morire di cancro. Con l'aiuto di Scott, Gerard viene morso da Derek. Scott, però, aveva scambiato le pillole per il cancro di Gerard con delle pillole al sorbo degli uccellatori che rigettano il morso di licantropo. In agonia, l'anziano Gerard, ordina a Jackson di uccidere tutti i presenti, ma in quel momento arrivano Stiles e Lydia con la jeep. Quest'ultima mostra a Jackson la chiave di casa sua, portando il ragazzo a ricordare di avergliela data durante la loro prima volta. In quel momento di debolezza, Derek e Peter uccidono Jackson, facendo scomparire il suo lato Kanima, che poco dopo rinasce lupo mannaro. La stagione finisce con Derek e i membri del suo branco che scoprono che un branco di alpha è in città: questo è il vero motivo per cui Derek li ha scelti.
