Based on an Israeli television series Prisoners of War; a psychological thriller that tells the story of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for nine years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin will portray Saul, a veteran CIA division chief who is Carrie's (Danes) boss and mentor.

It draws you in...The first few episodes start out with random nude scenes that are supposed to (cheaply) provide character development. However, around the 5th or so episode, I got hooked. This show isn't interesting because of the sub-plots, which are rather poor at times. The show is fascinating because of the character development of the two main characters and how their relationship with each other throughout the season marks each major turns for each individual..Score: 4/5

Very Good series, worth watchingI was talked into watching this series and Im glad I did. Being skeptical regarding this tv show, I went into not expecting much. Being prior military myself, Military shows/movies rarely impress me since they’re typically unrealistic in many ways. And although some of the scenes in this series I took with a grain of salt, I still enjoyed it immensely and have started to watch season 2 now. Worth watch and its enjoyable..Score: 5/5

Help!Someone help me out here, is it just me or is Homeland just not that good? Predictable, cliche, no grounding in emotion or reality?
