Season three of the drama is full of excitement and turmoil for the Reagan family both personally and professionally. In the season premiere, Danny and Jackie's investigation of a case involving domestic violence lead them to a high-powered city councilman. Subsequently, Danny is taken hostage after a man from his past who is bent on revenge is released from prison. Frank talks a rookie officer out of suicide and, in another instance, makes a commitment to a man to find his mother's killer. In their personal lives, Danny is concerned over Linda's new job at the hospital. Frank, meanwhile, raises questions over Henry's questionable driving and memory problems, and Erin faces off against her ex-husband in court.

Great ShowI love this show , i think Tom Selleck is a perfect fit for the character he portrays. The importance depicted by family element of the show is what really holds my interest, it is a a refreshing thing to see in todays day and age, Tom Sellecks unwavering character in very difficult situations really appeals to me. Superb ScriptwritingBlue Bloods thus far, to Season 3 has delivered everything imaginable to the viewer that is SORELY LACKING in today's films: Respect for family, religious observance and respect for the church and tradition, respect for elders, fair-minded and empathetic portrayal of characters and their flaws and triumphs. Truly a series that is honest and non-politically correct, but rather stays true to the characters. No ideological bias. Just plain old great storytelling..Score: 5/5

I hate Cop Dramas!!!This started out innocently enough. Just me and my wife watching a show that I thought FOR SURE that I would bored with or have just cheesy acting. Youâve got Magnum P.I. (or Quigley Down Under) and one of the other Wahlbergâs. Total failure right? HECK NO!!! The thing that makes this a great show, and you might have to be a parent, is the family and their interaction. The acting seems so real and relatable. Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, and the ENTIRE CAST (forgive me for not knowing the other names) are superb. If you liked Hill Street Blues, this has a family twist that you will appreciate if you have kids..Score: 5/5
