Season 13 of the groundbreaking drama begins exactly where season 12 left off as Russell's granddaughter Kaitlyn has been kidnapped by someone working for incarcerated Jeffrey McKeen. Morgan's father has been shot and Finlay is being tailed by a dirty detective. Russell is torn between confronting McKeen in prison and working the crime scene where Kaitlyn was taken, but he ultimately decides it will be more useful to let the evidence lead him to her. Following the trauma, Finlay encourages Russell to mend fences with his wife, but it turns out his wife is unhappy in Las Vegas and has gone to Seattle to spend time with her family. Other cases tackled by the CSIs in the thirteenth season include a massacre at a local diner that leaves but one survivor, the death of a fourteen year old girl killed at a large desert rave, and the murder of a famed music historian whose body was stuffed into a piano left in the middle of the desert.

Great Season!!This season has been one of the best ones.!! It is really interesting watching week by week cases that get personal for the characters. I believe episode 15 "Forget Me Not" has been one of the best ones so far! I have not stopped watching it ever since I bought that episode! If this season was phenomenal, I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in Season 14!.Score: 5/5
It back om Track!WIth Danson, and now Shue (whom I wish they would feature more - she is a fine actress, whose ill-advised plastic surgery left her face too immobile - thus giving a constant 'smug' look, but I can get past that), the ensemble is working well together and the show seems to be getting back on track this last year and a half.. We need the dynamic of intra-unit relationships built on a little more, becasue the Crime Scene Investigation routine is getting a little old, at least for me. It is a challenge for the writers, I am sure, to keep cranking out interesting and believable scenarios for the whole CSI family of shows, Still, I continue classifying CSI as a keeper and will keep watching until the franchise finally dies..Score: 4/5

CSI getting back on trackI've been a CSI fan from the beginning. I was heartbroken when Grissom (William Petersen) left and then even more upset when Cathrine (Marg Helgenberger) however I feel that with this season the show is finally getting back on track. Ted Danson is growing on me and I think he brings a unique quirkiness back to the show..Score: 4/5

Still as Good as It StartedI feel this show has remained consistently great throughout the years. I didn't really care for Fishburne, but the show was still good. Ted Danson is amazing in everything that he does. The moment I heard he was coming to this show I immediately rewatched his work on Damages (A.K.A. the best show on Earth).
