The tenth season of NCIS picks up where season nine left off, as the NCIS team surveys the damage from the terrorist bombing. The team continues their search for Harper Dearing, for whom Gibbs invokes a "poke the bear" strategy after realizing that Dearing has nothing left to lose. The team continues to solve difficult cases including an investigation to find a missing armory worker and another to solve the murder of a Petty Officer who was shot and killed while driving a Ferrari. Despite fearlessly pushing forward in their professional lives, the NCIS team struggle with the aftermath of the bombing. Gibbs helps Abby cope with the psychological aftermath by encouraging her to connect with her recently discovered biological brother. Gibbs struggles with family dynamics himself, as he reconnects with his father's best friend, the man he was named after, and convinces his father to let go of a grudge and reunite with him.

Rounding out the team are Anthony DiNozzo, an ex-homicide detective whose instincts in the field are unparalleled and whose quick wit and humorous take on life make him a team favorite; the youthful and energetic forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, a talented scientist whose sharp mind matches her Goth style and eclectic tastes; Caitlin Todd, an ex-Secret Service Agent; and Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate whose brilliance with computers far overshadows his insecurities in the field; Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all, and he's not afraid to let you know. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

NCIS cast - not just a show, more like a familyThe chemistry that this show has - is what makes NCIS such a fantastic show to watch. Each show is well written and every actor plays their character extremely well. After 9 completed seasons, all the shows to rewatch (thank you iTunes!) and the many many reruns that are available - the writers, producers, actors and all the others that work hard to give us great shows to see - makes me feel like the entire group at NCIS is a part of my family. Not only that, but Gibbs helps to remind us about respecting other people and his "list of rules" - all very good things to think about and remember as we live our lives. Abby - our loveable Abby. We certainly learn and are reminded to "not judge a book by it's cover" and it IS ok to care about your co-workers without crossing the line..Score: 5/5
No show compares to NCISI watch this show every single time a new episode aires. Then I sit with my IPhone and try to find little tidbits of info on the next episode. Just found a spoiler about the season finale. I think I'll probably go nuts again waiting for season 11 to start. Heard the finale is gonna be a shocker, can't wait!!!.Score: 5/5
