Entering its fourth season, Glee is a musical comedy about a group of ambitious and talented kids who escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club where they find strength, acceptance and, ultimately, their voice. This year, the members of New Directions compete amongst themselves to be the "new Rachel" and hold open auditions to find a fresh crop of students. Meanwhile, the graduating class leaves the comforts of McKinley for the real world where Rachel struggles to please her demanding NYADA teacher (Kate Hudson) and Kurt second-guesses his decision to stay in Lima. Four newcomers also join the musical comedy when it returns this fall. Golden Globe® Award winner and Academy Award® nominee Kate Hudson will join the cast in a six-episode arc. In her first return to television since "Sex in the City," Emmy® Award-winning actress and fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker also will guest-star this season.

Glee season 4 episode 18The episode Shooting Star was the most suspenseful episode to date on glee. I think that they did the right thing in addressing the gun violence issue. It is a topic on everyone's mind and glee always seems to go with the things like that (like Karofsky's attempted suicide last year). I think that glee and other shows and the media have a responsibility to air an episode like this. And though it is a painful subject, it should be brought to the viewer's attention so that we can try to prevent tragedies like school shootings from happening..Score: 5/5

I give up.This show has declined very slowly but surely since season one. Parts of this season are redeemable, but for the most part trying to watch it is a certain kind of torture. The newbies are hardly interesting and the originals are sorely mischaracterised, and I know I'm not the only one sick of Marley, Blaine, and dear god this stupid Ryder-catfishing subplot. RIB seems determined to drop even vaguely intriguing plots for Darren Criss fanservicing, and continuity is a joke when one looks back to previous seasons—and even EPISODES. I'm not sure how Glee, once upon a time my favorite show, has earned its next two seasons. I only hope it delivers..Score: 2/5

I miss the old gleeI loved this show but it is so hard to watch this season the newbies are so bad that I don't know who could like them the broke everyone up early on this year and there is no relationship to follow or cheer for. I have no idea where they are going with this season because they has everyone break up then get back together during the wedding and then not talk about it. Nobody knows what is going on with Kurt and Blane or Rachel and Finn or Santana and Quinn. They only have 3 episodes left this season they need to explain a lot. I really hope that they have two shows next year one in New York with Kurt, Santana, Rachel, and Blaine. And one with the newbies..Score: 2/5
