The Middle, Season 4 Release Date and Synopsis

Patricia Heaton, Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher and Atticus Shaffer star as the middle class, middle of the country (i.e. Orson, Indiana) Heck family in this warm and witty comedy about raising a family and lowering your expectations. While Frankie continues to struggle selling cars at the only remaining car dealer in town, an unexpected turn of events might force her to reevaluate her career path. Axl’s slothlike days are numbered, now that Mike’s made it his mission to ensure that his oldest son somehow earns a sports scholarship and goes to college next year. Meanwhile, Sue’s not only navigating high school, but wants to navigate Indiana roads – by getting her driver’s license. It’s no wonder that youngest son Brick keeps his nose in a book!

Great Show! What happened to seasons 5 and 6?Love this show! Wish I would have watched it when it first aired. The characters and the story is so great and relatable. No season was horrible and a sitcom that can be watched over and over again and never get old. Wish more sitcoms today were like this one. However, what happened to seasons 5 and 6? My favorite comedyI wish I had started watching The Middle from the first episode. It is laugh out loud funny without the crudeness and filth that so many writers and producers mistakenly feel that people want. The characters are well written as well as excellently performed. The cast is so well balanced and they have a "family chemistry" that is so believable. The season opener dealt with the issue of whether or not parents have a favorite child which is a classic theme. The great thing is that the Heck Family has a way of taking something basic and turning it on it's ear. My favorite character has got to be the pathetically lovable Sue. Her attempt at being bad to get attention was hilarious and well acted. Watching The Middle will never be a waste of your time..Score: 5/5
