Joining Fringe scientist Walter Bishop, FBI agent Olivia Dunham, Peter Bishop and the Fringe team is Olivia and Peter’s now-grown daughter, Etta, in a final season filled with struggle, surprises and sacrifice.
When an international flight lands at Boston's Logan Airport and the passengers and crew have all died grisly deaths, FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham is called in to investigate. After her partner is nearly killed during the investigation, a desperate Olivia searches frantically for someone to help, leading her to Dr. Walter Bishop, our generation's Einstein. There's only one catch: he's been institutionalized for the last twenty years, and the only way to question him requires pulling his estranged son Peter in to help. When Olivia's investigation leads her to a manipulative corporate executive, she and her team will discover that what happened on Flight 627 is only a small piece of a larger, more shocking truth and will explore the blurring line between the possible and the impossible.

Loved the series, lament it's end.Have had Upstairs At Erics for a very long time...So thrilled that Only You was used in the first episode. It was perfec t! I think I'll miss Walter the most, he encapsulates the child in all of us while reminding us that what makes us, "us" is fragile and potentially fleeting yet at our core always. A little too dark for my tastesThe previous seasons always had a degree of humour, largly contributed by Walter and his bumbling yet brillian ways, to help to couterbalance the darker aspects of the storyline. The last few episodes of season 4 and the first in season 5 are just depressing to me with very little relief or hope shining through. I know all things must change but why ruin a winning recipe in the final season..Score: 3/5
Great showI don't understand how so many people think apple controls the prices and the speed at which the episodes are released. apple is a computer company. they don't own the rights to tv shows. FOX owns this. i see it everywhere throughout the itunes store and it honestly drives me crazy. oh and you don't give a show 1 star because "apple" is slow at releasing episodes. rate the show itself. you should know being an itunes customers that we get shows later because they have to air on tv first. but at least when we do get them, we don't have to sit through paid advertisements like everyone else does..Score: 5/5

Episodes are up?I note that many people are complaining that episodes aren't available for download until days after the airing. I bought a season pass and - despite the fact that the 3rd episode wasn't shown as available - I received an e-mail telling me that it was available. So I clicked on the link and successfully downloaded episode 3. And it still wasn't up on the website for download. Weird or what? I'm now awaiting episode 4 to see what will happen here..Score: 5/5

Season PassUpdate: Finally it's available!! Woohoo!! Downloading now. About freakin time!! And Season 5 Damages too!! I can wait for the season pass. I've waited before for one I can wait again. I have all previous seasons of Fringe and I haven't been disappointed in any of them. Sad to see it end. At least it has a chance to conclude unlike some other shows. The Final SeasonFringe's final season starts strong, with the fantastic Transilience Thought Unifier Model - 11, which in particular showcases just how great an actor John Noble is. If the premiere is an indication, this could very well be the best season Fringe ever, and with any luck this show will go out with a bang. The best Sci Fi on currently on television is coming to a close, and it wont disapoint. Its a shame there is no season pass, but the price of the individual episodes isnt bad for a 13 episode season..Score: 5/5

Why the long delay in getting the show in iTunes??We have to wait until Monday to get the show when the network airs it on Friday. Is there anyone at Apple Canada working on the weekend?? It should be available by Saturday sometime not 3 days later. I will miss this show. The series finale is great. Lost of one star because Apple is too slow getting the show into iTunes. An incomplete Show - Season 4 alternate reality!!!This is a top class show, regrettably I purchased all the seasons before realising season 4 of this incredible show was missing. Don't purchase this show until season 4 is included it will only drive you mad, I have purchased season five and I can't watch it without seeing season 4. Congrats to iTunes for getting the show, it's been a long wait. But the package is incomplete. iTunes is asking us - to borrow an analogy that fits to Watch 2 weeks of Wimbledon until the Quarter Finals skip the semi-finals and watch the Final.
