This small town girl with big dreams has acclimated to her new life as a nanny in New York City! Jessie has come to rely on the children as her friends but she must also continue to make sure that they all stay on track. It’s not an easy job but Jessie is able to juggle many tasks including helping Ravi take care of Mrs. Kipling’s baby lizards, encouraging Emma to be open-minded about making new friends, and volunteering in Zuri’s classroom.
Jessie is a comedy series about a small-town girl who leaves behind her Texas roots and finds a job in the Big Apple as nanny to a high-flying couple's four precocious kids.

Iffy…Sometimes this show is cute, but they make Jessie look like THE best person in the world: like in every other Disney show, guys adore the girl main character…this one tacky cliché guy who works in the lobby, Tony, kisses the ground she walks on. She gets whatever she wants- she auditions for the role of someone and surprise, surprise, gets it. But it's so unrealistic because she can't act and as soon as she walks in, they go, "You got it!". Yeah right…what about call backs??? And she gets a "record" deal from this guy…it's a scam but the whole episode she's like, "I'm such a good singer, I wrote this awesome song!" No, no, no. Look, Debby Ryan used to be super cute and I enjoyed watching her…but now she's just…yuck. And this "red" hair is awful..Score: 2/5
