FX’s original comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back for a 8th season this Fall, so get ready for more depraved schemes from Philly’s favorite bar owners! The Gang returns to Paddy’s Pub with Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dee (Kaitlin Olson), and Frank (Danny DeVito). Last season, The Gang lived it up at the Jersey Shore, Frank married a hooker, and Mac got very, very fat. This season, stay tuned to see The Gang go to therapy, hunt for Nazi treasure, and try to undermine Philly’s toughest union – the trashmen! Charlie and Dee find love, Frank re-enters the business world, and Dee blurs the lines between the real and virtual worlds when she falls into an obsession with computer games. Get ready for even more disagreements, disunion and divisiveness as The Gang tries once again to scheme their way to happiness!

Great season. Shut up about the ads.Guys these reviews are supposed to be about the quality of the show and not the commercials in the beginning and end that allow this show to be offered at a cheaper price. Those who gave it 1 star are ridiculous, ads are only annoying in the middle of a show, also skipping the ads is significantly easier than writing a 1 star review about the ads. Superb!!!Every season is better than its prior!! No doubt about it although when a refreshment is needed on a previous season episode they provide great memories and can be just as good as watching a new seasoned episode. I just bought my season pass for this season and well I couldnt be happier with the high caliber of comedy Im about to be hit with!! Makes me want to cryI can still remember when I was first introduced to this show. A good friend of mine called it up on 'on demand" and showed me "the gang finds a dumpster baby" and "the gang gets racist". The show blew my mind, it was so funny and so creative. I loved it because it crossed so many lines but was, in my opinion, pretty well written and was not just a bunch of random shock value crap that was thrown together to make people say "oh my god, did they really just say/do that?". After watching those first two episodes, I went strait to the store, bought the first four seasons and watched every episode back to back. I was surprised at how creative they were with the plot, every episode had a different feel to it yet it was the same atmosphere. In my opinion, the show started to go down hill after season four. I think season seven was maybe a little bit better than season six but not by much. Season eight, however, is so far just bad. Simple as that, bad. Everything that I loved about the way the show was written in the first four seasons is now completely gone. They no longer try to come up with new things for us to discover about the character's lives and personalities. They the recycled plots and jokes and references are just plain painful to watch. I feel like this show has gone the way of the simpsons, used to be great but now it is the same stale material every time. I no longer watch the simpsons and if I had not bought the season pass to Sunny, I would not be watching this show anymore either it just keeps getting worse and it makes me want to cry..Score: 1/5
AdsI've been buying this show for as long as it has been on iTunes, but if the ads keep up, I will not be getting the next season pass. Please stop, and issue new downloads without them. If FX wants to promote other shows, offer a free "Also on FX" download with the show, sort of like the season retrospectives and specials that are often available. Many people would download it, we already like shows that are on FX. We just don't want to see it automatically with every episode..Score: 1/5

Love ItLook for people saying that they are rehashing old plotlines, the reason is that they are making fun of popular Tv shows that start to do that once there show gets into a high number of seasons.
