Doctor Who, Season 7, Pt. 2 Synopsis

1 - The Bells of Saint John
The Doctor’s search for Clara Oswald brings him to modern day London, where wifi is everywhere. Humanity lives in a wifi soup. But something dangerous is lurking in the signals, picking off minds and imprisoning them. As Clara becomes the target of this insidious menace, the Doctor races to save her and the world from an ancient enemy.

2 - The Rings of Akhaten
Clara wants to see something awesome, so the Doctor whisks her off to the inhabited rings of the planet Akhaten, where the Festival of Offerings is in full swing. Clara meets the young Queen of Years as the pilgrims and natives ready for the ceremony. But something is stirring in the pyramid, and a sacrifice will be demanded.

3 - Cold War
The Doctor and Clara land on a damaged Russian Submarine in 1983 as it spirals out of control into the ocean depths. An alien creature is loose on board, having escaped from a block of Arctic ice. With tempers flaring and a cargo of nuclear weapons on board, it’s not just the crew but the whole of humanity at stake!

4 - Hide
Clara and the Doctor arrive at Caliburn House, a haunted mansion sat alone on a desolate moor. Within its walls, a ghost hunting Professor and a gifted psychic are searching for the Witch of the Well. Her apparition appears throughout the history of the building, but is she really a ghost? And what is chasing her?

5 - Journey to the Centre of the Tardis
A spaceship salvage team drags the TARDIS on board, sending its systems into meltdown. As the Doctor marshals the motely salvage crew outside, he realizes Clara is still trapped within his malfunctioning ship, pursued by a dangerous group of ossified monsters. He has just 30 minutes to find Clara and save his TARDIS before it self-destructs.

6 - The Crimson Horror
There’s something very odd about Mrs Gillyflower’s Sweetville mill, with its perfectly clean streets and beautiful people. There’s something even stranger about the bodies washing up in the river, all bright red and waxy. When the Doctor and Clara go missing, it’s up to Vastra, Jenny and Strax to rescue them before they too fall victim to the Crimson Horror!

7 - Nightmare in Silver
Hedgewick’s World of Wonders was once the greatest theme park in the galaxy, but it’s now the dilapidated home to a shabby showman, a chess playing dwarf and a dysfunctional army platoon. When the Doctor, Clara, Artie and Angie arrive, the last thing they expect is the re-emergence of one of the Doctor’s oldest foes. The Cybermen are back!

8 - The Name of the Doctor
Clara is summoned to an impossible conference call, alerting her that the deadly Whisper Men are closing in on Vastra, Jenny and Strax. Someone is kidnapping the Doctor's friends, leading him toward the one place in all of time and space that he should never go. It's a deadly trap that threatens to unravel his past, present and future...

CHANGED MY REVIEW  LumiTheWhovianElf  5 star

GREAT season. Maybe not as good as previous seasons, but every bit Doctor Who! : )

BEST SHOW EVER😳😳😳😳  E belly-bumper  5 star

Dr Who is my most favorite show EVER. If they take it off,I will sue them.

Clara a lifesaver!  Juliet7771  5 star

I've been waiting for the chemistry that David Tennant had with Rose for so long. I love the new girl, and Matt Smith works so well with Clara! Instant chemistry between them.

Clara  kepola60  5 star

I think Clara is a really good assistant also the thing that the doctor has to resolve a mystery about her makes it more interesting but I will miss Amy pond :(

GENIUS  Juggernot5679  5 star

It's Doctor Who, that should make you want to buy it without even reading the reviews. Well thought out stories and a new companion (Clara!) makes the show even more amazing. I mean almost David Tennant amazing. Nothing can compare to David Tennant. THIS IS STILL GENIUS!!!!!

You never know, where it will take you.  yakty  5 star

This is the best season of the doctor yet, and by far. You always guess at the beginning, what the hell is happening there, and why. And it makes all the answers, when they come even better sounding. And personally I think Matt is the best incarnation of the Doctor yet, while Jenna makes for a perfect companion.

Clara doesn't fit  kelly2229  2 star

For me Doctor who was my escape. Whenever I needed to just escape from my life I ran to the Doctor. I know, many people will say I'm not a true Doctor Who fan for not having watched all the classics, but I still count on the doctor and his companions to take me away, and show me what it's like to be brave. With Rose, Martha, Donna, Amy, Rory, and River i felt like I was a part. Laughed along side them cried when they left, the companions became part of my life. They each meant something to the doctor became the people he loved and trusted. His lover, His support, his best friend, his family and his wife. But with Clara, I feel like she doesn't fit into the Doctor's life like his other companions. She just "The impossible girl." A mystery. Nothing more.

Amazing season  Aswin!  5 star

This season was awesome! I really liked The Doctor and Clara as partners in crime! The last episode made sense about Clara's identity, but I wish to know more! Guess we shall see. Can't say too much 'cause it'll be, Spoilers!

Great Potential!  Rik 88  5 star

I did not think I would like Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman) as much as I like Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) as the Doctors companion but found that she has lots of potential. She lives up to her potential in 'Trouble in Silver', in my opinion her best performance in the Doctor Who series since 'The Snowmen'. There are still many questions to be answered like why is she the 'Impossible Girl'.

Better than Pond  DegeB  3 star

What you need to know: - better than Amy Pond seasons - Less ridiculous plots, but still lacking compared to the intricate, well-thought-out story lines from Russell T. Davies - Clara is a fantastic character - Like the new sub characters - No two part episodes - maybe better for Moffatt, less complicated stories - there's the caveat: less thought out plots, not enough dragged out of a story Overall Season 7.2 is worth the buy. I just wish I could pretend that season 6 and 7.1 never existed at all. Moffatt is a great writer when he writes shoes like Sherlock. OR stand alone episodes. However, he needs to work on his overarching story lines and continuity. If you like what he has done to the show, chances are you'll be a fan of this too. If you're less agreeable with what he has churned out there's a 50/50 chance you'll like it.

Finally an adventurer not a babysitter!  DR. ROURKE  5 star

Thankfully Dr. who is being written Again as being a Time Lord who is a time traveler and adventurer who travels back in time, Explores past histories and visits other planets! I found season six and seven insufferable watching the Dr.become marriage counselor and babysitter I figured it was one of those things that the UK liked but it didn't work in North America due to the different cultures the David Tennant doctor is Dr. who and that's what the bar should be set (David Tennant the 10th Dr. and 12th doctor)

Favorite Season  sarahmustwrite  5 star

One episode in, and I've already decided that this season is going to be my favorite of New Who. The chemistry between Clara and the Doctor is fantastic. I just wish I had a time machine to collect the rest of the episodes RIGHT NOW.

Brilliant!  Comrade_Alexei  5 star

The first episode lives up to the last season, and Clara is fantastic, iTunes even uploaded the episode in a timely manner!

Amazing show. Just saw The Bells of St. John, really good, I loved it. I'm going to miss the Ponds dearly, but I think Clara will be great.

ahhh I can't wait!!!!  ianwcanucks  5 star

I watched the preview for "The Bells of Saint John" and I absolutely can't wait.

COME ON!!!  SupraGrl  3 star

Im so disappointed with this season. Can we get some good episodes and a better girl. Clara is so boring and the acting is really bad. There's no chemistry at all! Wonder what she had to do to get this role.

Yaaay!  Meeeeeee4  5 star

Doctor who! I looooove this show so much!! Thanks goodness I can watch it on my phone

The Doctor, Clara, and An Intriguing Question  Fructose5  5 star

I know a lot of people have been saying that the Doctor seems flat and Clara seems flat too, but I'm willing to give them a chance. There were times that each of the doctors got depressed throughout the series, so if the eleventh is a little off right now, I'll still stick with it. As for Clara, well I like her energy and spirit. She does tend to be a bit Amy Pond sometimes, but I still like her. Some say these episodes focus too much on her and not enough on the Doctor, but I'll wait until the series finale before making that call. MOST IMPORTANTLY, no one seems to have asked the most intriguing question of series 7 part 2 yet: Who was the woman who gave Clara the Doctor's phone number?

Snowmen, Best Christmas Episode !  Andrew Puckett  5 star

What a great comeback episode , awesome series, can't wait for New episode The Bells of Saint John !! Love the new companion.

It is Dr Who but..........  BriscoCty  4 star

Like others, Dr Who is been great, but it has lost some of it's fizz. And it also seems to be missing a steller soundtrack, like past seasons. And when we find out about Clara, then what ?

DoctorWhoGalore  wolf_warrior4569  5 star

This season has been amazing I highly suggest watching it I surprisingly loved it beyond belief! The Name Of The Doctor shall soon be revealed

Mine turtle says hello
Mehh  Mine turtle says hello  4 star

I'm about the biggest doctor who nerd ever, but with the new season the eleventh has been getting darker and deeper, and this season really shows it, and still that's why the tenth doctor was the best, energetic and epic not dark and deep

A Dumber more Foolish Dr Who !  Live Barncats  3 star

Season 7 part 2 episode 5 script has the look and feel of an extremely juvenile dialog. Send a proper script !

Terribly written.  ShredniVashtar  2 star

I loved seeing the other parts of the TARDIS but apart from that, this episode annoyed and frustrated me to no end. If you have to resort to a Deus Ex Machina ending then you fail as a writer.
