Everything You Need to Know About Namaste Yoga, Season 1

Sabine, an up-and-coming yoga teacher from New York City has recently moved to Los Angeles to hit it big in the Hollywood down dog scene. Hoping for a warm welcome from the local community, she is instead greeted with a trial teaching position at a small studio and a frosty reception from image-obsessed LA instructors. When corporate studio Yoga World opens up nearby, Sabine is pressured to maintain her fledgling student base at any cost. Sabine's moral compass is tested by rival teachers, greedy studio owners, judgmental students, and her own self-destructive tendencies. When she finally "speaks her truth" to her students, will she be destroyed or catapulted to greatness?

Best yoga flow sessionLoved the the show for years, and I’m so happy to find it here. If you’re new to Kate Potter’s style you might want to watch the flow sequence first to be familiar with it, she doesn’t stop to explain each pose. I hope season 3 and 4 will be available as well..Score: 5/5

The best Yoga and its local !My girlfriend and I have been doing a least 1 sequence a day for at least a year now. We LOVE having all the sequences from season one on hand, we can practice whenever we can fit it it. Before we started I was not even able to bend over and reach my toes, now I can forward fold all the way to the ground. Not only have I strengthened muscles and balance, I am able to take my breathing and clear my mind at any time during the day. I love the fact that Namaste is local for me. I live just out side of Vancouver and love seeing the beauty of the city and not a green screen. This is by far the best at home yoga. We sampled others but found that with the calmness of Kate Potters voice and the flow of the seqences can just not be copied..Score: 5/5

The best at-home yoga experience, hands downI am thrilled to finally be able to purchase these episodes on itunes! This series brings me serenity and a calm sense of peace while still providing consistently challenging yoga sequences. Visually breathtaking, calm instruction and music makes me get lost in my practice from home. Simply the best, and I've tried out many others, all which pale in comparison to Namaste TV..Score: 5/5

Pros and ConsThe yoga sequence is good. Some pretty settings featured. Sequence goes pretty fast and isn’t always easy to follow. They favor artsy body shots to full body view making it challenging to ensure your form is correct. The camera moves around a lot. I’ve done yoga casually for years and on first watch it was a bit hard to follow. I’m sure once you’ve done it a few times, you’d recognize the pattern and the speed may fit well with the breath..Score: 3/5

Great seriesI have tried other at home yoga programs but have found this one to be the best. I equate the 'movement phrases' to be the yoga equivalent to step aerobics. You have the opportunity to add on to the poses, and get better and stretch deeper each time. The narration is calming and gives only the information you need.
