In Season 11, the NCIS team deals with the aftermath of an explosion that results in a casualty connected to the agency. Tony travels to Israel on the search for missing Ziva, and Gibbs and McGee head to Afghanistan to solve a murder. New analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop joins the team, helping on a case that she predicted two years before.
NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, it's a show that focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant, whose skills as an investigator are unmatched, leads this troupe of colorful personalities. Rounding out the team are Anthony DiNozzo, an ex-homicide detective whose instincts in the field are unparalleled and whose quick wit and humorous take on life make him a team favorite; the youthful and energetic forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, a talented scientist whose sharp mind matches her Goth style and eclectic tastes; Caitlin Todd, an ex-Secret Service Agent; and Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate whose brilliance with computers far overshadows his insecurities in the field; Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all, and he's not afraid to let you know. From murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, these special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes with Navy or Marine Corps ties.

New Leads in NCISThe person replacing Ziva, Bishop, is a HORRIBLE actress...just HORRIBLE. Her role, concept and background for the story is stupid...sitting on the floor...dippy zippy brain. What an utter disappointment after the last two STRONG female leads. The new SecNav is also terribly disappointing as well. Her lack of background...I just think the role is terrible. Please do better NCIS, your show is too good for this..Score: 5/5
Great show but not sure about the futureI have loved this show since I started watching at the beginning of season 3. One thing that made it great was that the core cast has stayed intact for the past eight years. The dynamic of the team as a family and the back stories of the characters have made NCIS much more interesting than the average crime procedural. Not everyone agrees but Ziva David was my favorite character and I loved the depth Cote De Pablo brought to her. I'm going to give the first few episodes of Season 11 a chance but I'm not sure the show will remain a favorite for me without Ziva. Although I like Sasha Alexander as an actress and as Maura Isles, I don't find NCIS as appealing during the first two seasons with Kate as I do after Ziva joined the team. The description of the new character, Bishop, sounds a little bland but that is on paper. It remains to be seen what the actress and writers can do with the character on screen. Not giving up but not really looking forward to the new season either. Would love it if they convinced Cote de Pablo to return and shifted Bishop to the new NCIS set in New Orleans..Score: 5/5
NcisI hope that they are making a season 12. If they are not i will be sad because this is my top 1 favorite cop show ever because it has action an drama. Come on, it will be fun!!!Yes, I am saddened by the notion that Ziva will not be here, but is that not reality? In life we change co-workers all the time. But to say that we will jump ship is maybe a little extreme. There will be someone new to meet and a whole new storyline to discover.
