More Content Please?Willliam Hartnell - the first man to ever play the Doctor and to start a series that would last over fifty years and counting. However, as a Doctor Who Fan, I can’t help but notice that most of William Hartnell’s content is missing. Yes, I’m aware that BBC had junked several episodes in the past, so I know that it’s impossible to have a complete series. However, there are several episodes worth mentioning that should be in your iTunes collection. For one, there should be the ‘Edge of Destruction’, in which the Doctor undergoes major character development after being trapped in his own Tardis with his granddaughter Susan and his two companions Ian Chatterton and Barbara Wright. The Next Episode should be The Rescue, in which the Doctor receives a girl named Vicki to replace Susan, who had left the Doctor to pursue love with a boy on Earth during the events of the last serial the Dalek Invasion of Earth. Another Episode should contain The Space Museum, which depicts the fact that the Doctor can use the TARDIS to change certain faiths, and quite similarly the Time Meddler, in which the Doctor uses the TARDIS to prevent a major change within the Time-Space Continuum. The serial, The Chase, shows the departure of the two companions for the exchange of the new companion Steven. The Myth Makers, The Daleks’ Master Plan, and The Massacre are part of some weird time-space continuum that shows the arrival some new companions, such as Dodo, and the untimely departure of some other companions, such as Ben. The War Machines sees some Terminator-esque serial to the Doctor Who franchise, in which a computer takes over the entire world, and we see the departure of Dodo in the exchange of companions Polly and Ben, who accompany the Doctor as he regenerates for the first time. I hope this review reaches the executives at Apple, and there will be some changes. If not, I will, (jokingly, of course), sit right outside Apple headquarters until I could see some progress. Thank you for your cooperation and have a nice day/night..Score: 3/5

An excellent representation of the 1st DoctorThese serials are excellent. "An Unearthly Child" is an excellent 4-part serial. If you're looking for "The Daleks", those are packaged in the Daleks package. "The Time Meddler", far and away, is the best story, and it's a shame the modern series doesn't follow its more subdued approach. There are only so many times the Daleks can invade Earth before it starts becoming meh. Though "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" avoids thoses cliches, and is an excellent swan song for Susan. "The Aztecs" addresses all of those issues with time-travel. That being said, I kinda of expected more. For instance, I expected the two-parter "The Edge Of Destruction" (Episodes 12-13) to be included, (the two-parter is as far as you can go into the series without running into missing episodes.) Another serial I wanted was the 6-episode "The Sensorites", also from Season 1. Season 2 only has two missing episodes overall, but only "The Time Meddler" and "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" are included. There's the 3-parter "Planet of Giants", another two-parter "The Rescue" (that introduces Vicki), a 4-parter titled "The Romans", a 6-parter "The Web Planet", a 4-parter "The Space Museum", and a 6-parter "The Chase." I also wanted a serial from Season 3. There are three complete serials from Season 3. All three are four-parters. The first is "The Ark", the second is "The Gunfighters", and the last one is "The War Machines", which introduces Ben and Polly, and sees the departure of companion Dodo Chaplet. As for Season 4, Hartnell was only in two serials, and the first is missing all 4 episodes. The next one is missing Episode 4. (The Tenth Planet.)
