The Galactic Empire continues to grow, having seized control of Outer Rim planet Lothal. While innocent citizens struggle against Imperial oppression, the motley crew of the starship Ghost takes on a new member, street orphan Ezra Bridger. As Ezra embarks on missions with the crew to thwart the Empire and assist the citizens of Lothal, he learns what it means to be part of a team, fighting for something larger than himself. With each adventure, Ezra solidifies his place in this new family, while being taught the ways of the Jedi.

Bridging generation gapsOk. I don't give a rat’s arse about spinoffs for the most part. This series engages my smallest kids and me. When I watch old TV, I feel sorry for my dad who had to sit through the “Dukes of Hazzard” and other such shows when I was growing up. I even made him take to see “Star Wars” three times. But now I can connect with my kids through this new saga. Once Ewoks entered the picture, the series lost some value to me. Muppets? Really? Anyway, I accepted the vision of the creator and tried to move with it, but this offers a much more fun depiction. My youngest, older daughter gets it. The last episode was “To be continued…” and for the first time, both of us are waiting. Great series. Please don’t stop here….I am grateful that you guys found a way to connect us!!.Score: 5/5

One of the best animated Sci-Fi dramas for a family audienceSeason 1 has been a fantastic start, with several well-written episodes (including story arcs and two-parters, which I prefer to entirely standalone), wonderful character development, and the occasional dark tone. Using the Series Pass, I’m glad that I’m now able to own all 13 episodes. My favourite episode of the season is “Fire Across the Galaxy” because of all the fun and action, which I’d prefer not to spoil. I hope we will not have to wait for Season 2 to come out a month after being aired in the UK..Score: 5/5
How many episodes??If this does indeed mean all episodes of Season one are included then this is a good buy. The series is really good and has the classic trilogy feel to it. Purchasing season passes from itunes before, it is more common for a vol.1 to mean half the season however il be happy to be proved wrong. As good as Clone Wars in my opinion.Score: 5/5
One of the best contributions to the Star Wars cannonThis animated series is a hidden gem. The stories have been really well written and lever in some pretty powerful themes without impacting the watch ability or pace of the programme. As a result they are enjoyable for both young and old. They also provide some great role-models (especially for young girls) and sources of discussion about themes such as loss, self doubt, acceptance in social groups. Like other reviewers we can't wait for series 2 and are waiting for an indication of release date for iTunes from Apple..Score: 5/5

Great Start, looking forward to Season 2..A good start to the new series. Was disappointed when the Clone Wars was cancelled but Rebels seems to improve after each episode. The Season starts slowly but does have potential to be as good as the Clone Wars if not better. Hope to see Season 2 on iTunes soon....Score: 4/5

Bit miss-leadingBought this thinking that I'd be able to watch all of the season 1 episodes, but vol.1 is only half the season? Even though it states that a series pass 'all current and future episodes of Star Wars Rebels, Vol. 1' will be available. Bit miffed I have to pay extra to watch the 2nd half of S1.
