Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White’s lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Best Writing, Acting, and Directing Anywhere!I watched all of Breaking Bad and thought Saul stole the show in just about every scene he’s in. I was thrilled to see the prequel and it’s not been the least bit disappointing. I’m guessing if someone doesn’t know what he becomes, it may not be as interesting, but for those of us who loved Breaking Bad, this is terrific work!.Score: 5/5
Really, REALLY goodI only write reviews if I absolutely love it. I was afraid this wouldn’t deliver but the story lines are unique, interesting and so well written. Watching Saul (Jimmy) negotiate is just a delight. I truly loved Breaking Bad and this is very very good. I’m probably gonna love it as much - my anticipation is there every week. Vince Gilligan - Need I Say More?Vince Gilligan is a genius writer. He wrote some of the best episodes on the X-Files and even went on to further his career with the outstanding series Breaking Bad. It came as no surprise when he decided to release a spin off series titled, Better Call Saul. Set 6 years before the events of Breaking Bad, the show tells the story of Jimmy McGill, small time lawyer trying to make an honest living but with forces beyon his control, always seems to land back at square one. Each episode is spontaneous and unpredictable. And yet it all brilliantly seems to flow together. This is what i have come to expect from Gilligan. A truly great show that I highly recommend! Slow at first, but worth the wait..Yes, the first 5 episodes are a little "slow" but that's the setting: New Mexico, Breaking Bad feel. Absolutely love this show.
