The Most Boring Season YetI am a big fan of most of the Housewives shows and New York USED to be my favorite. This season is so unbelievably boring. Nothing really has gone down other than some catty back and forth between the ladies. Betheney is almost intolerable. Her doctor needs to lower her Adderral dosage, and muzzle her. “Oh Boo Hoo Im so rich… and have the same problems poor people have boohoo”. Save it lady, you’re late (you’re irrelevant). Then there’s poor Dorinda, who isn’t sheltered from the productions obvious editing like some of the other ladies, and it actually makes me feel for her (The editing shows her in comprimising camera shots, highlights her gaudy taste, and overly accentuates her drinking). Kristen Takeman..ughhh so boring, so stupid, and not really that pretty. ( Honey no one should have that much face work, at 36…pump your brakes). GET RID OF HER. I can’t stand her annoying, whiny chatter, her irrelevant existence, and her lame “diamonds and denim” party ( I love how she called crafting at someones BORROWED apartment and event! Sonja’s drunken antics, and declining net worth is just recycled drama from the last several seasons, Ramona’s storyline could be very juicy but instead is edited to her low-budget, and low class outbursts (Three Quarter Life Crisis? She behaves like a white trash teenager and is too old to be having a “Midlife Crisis”). While I’ve always liked Heather and LuAnn, I find them trying too hard to be involved and honestly, LuAnn really seems aged and a little dare I say, medicated?. I have always adored Carole however, I find that again, the production crew is letting her down, with a storyline that is tired and over done (dating or seeing a young lover). She is a little too mature to be “playing” Carrie Bradshaw. Overall this season is just subpar and certainly not worth the money I paid for it, I should’ve have watched it in Bravo, or Online however, I cannot stand the incessant commercials and show plugs every 7 minutes. Do I really like the Housewives franchises? Maybe I need to think again..Score: 2/5
