“Mr. Robot,” is a techno thriller that follows Elliot (Rami Malek, “The Pacific”), a young programmer, who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group (Christian Slater, “The Adderall Diaries”) recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world. Mr. Robot, Season 1 Wiki

Hooked from the very first scene.
The show dislikes: Capitalism, Apple, large Corporations, Steve Jobs, Josh Groban, and President Bush. These attacks are unwarranted, and unnecessary. The producer, Mr. Sam Esmail, despises individualsm, and what makes the good old USA so great. I dislike that Esmail criticizes the system that gave him this opportunity, and fame. If you like man on man sex then this is the show for you. This show is not to my liking or taste, episode 1 had such promise, I am done. Apple is great and they are very understanding in refunding offensive shows.
So great and Special 😄
Every one must saw this series So interesting and have a grateful story. I'm waiting to season 3😍…
Riveting and odd. Probably the most insightful enactment of living inside a psychotic mind, if I had to guess. We all know psychosis is real; this makes us understand it better and perhaps be much more empathetic as we watch it wrapped like candy in the drama of the hackers' world.
Think hackers meets fight club..worth the watch
Very interesting and really makes you think. After the pilot episode I promise you will get addicted!!!
I was so hocked on the show, I was not able to wait for the next episode.
Just finished Season 2, which is a pretty big step down from Season 1, and had to revise my rating downard. This show is pretty entertaining and Rami Malek is very good in it; however, creatively the story is totally unoriginal and is an at times word-for-word rip-off of Fight Club. The creative infringement bothered me a little in the first season, but the 2015 update to the FC story was novel enough to keep me interested. But, to continue to borrow wholesale from the FC story for the heart of Season 2 just seems lazy. This show needs to bring some original story telling and original social critiques before it's worth recommending.
One of the best to series I have watched. As others have said, its in the vein of fight club. Hanging out for season 2!
Can't wait for the next season. Awesome.
This is one of the best shows on television. The acting is superb, the story is compelling and addictive and the last three episodes of season 1 might just be the best piece of television drama you'll ever have the pleasure of watching. Unmissable, addictive and on point with how the world is right now. Don't miss this.
The best thing about this is the retro framing devices; it has an early 80's look and feel. New York is rendered sumptuous. All the tropes - hacking, drug trafficking, corporate greed, espionage - are up to date but understated, human. The only thing that irks slightly is the mental illness narrative. Its a beautifully sophisticated one. But while it hits some true notes it also misses, particularly on the sense of entitlement that can adversely feed sufferers, most notably, that you can just think your way out, or that it is an indicator of genius. Don't get me wrong, the story is clearly aware of these but you risk coming away feeling a little that the several characters in question are inherently tragic figures, because they happen to be sufferers. Hopefully, that is just foreshadowing; there are no arch-villains at this point so their arcs' might see some kind of redemption in future seasons.
I’ve been waiting for a show to try and get digital subcultures right and this is the closest I have seen. The plot is interesting and the actors are definitely talented. I’m looking forward to season 2, hopefully we won’t have the delays this time around.
This is a thrilling, creepy and at times darkly humorous story that really surprised us when we caught it for the first time. Rami Malek is awesome as Elliot- something about his wide-eyed look, vulnerability and edge. He's the centre piece of this show, but in no way is everyone else weak- they fill their roles superbly. Highly recommended.
Definitely an interesting and intelligent TV show in the vein of Fight Club with a hint of Dexter. But where, oh where, are the episodes? If Itunes are going to hold back on allowing users to view episodes they have already paid for then there should at least be some kind of timeframe given as to when the remainder will be added.
Hi Apple, A season pass means the “whole” season. What gives?
Great series but we are doing the right thing by buying but only get half the episodes. 2 are missing and have been out in the States for yonks, Wiki has outlined the whole story and we cant get what we paid for this is rediculous. What is the timeframe?
