“Mr. Robot,” is a techno thriller that follows Elliot (Rami Malek, “The Pacific”), a young programmer, who works as a cyber-security engineer by day and as a vigilante hacker by night. Elliot finds himself at a crossroad when the mysterious leader of an underground hacker group (Christian Slater, “The Adderall Diaries”) recruits him to destroy the firm he is paid to protect. Compelled by his personal beliefs, Elliot struggles to resist the chance to take down the multinational CEOs he believes are running (and ruining) the world. Mr. Robot, Season 1 Wiki

Hooked from the very first scene.
The show dislikes: Capitalism, Apple, large Corporations, Steve Jobs, Josh Groban, and President Bush. These attacks are unwarranted, and unnecessary. The producer, Mr. Sam Esmail, despises individualsm, and what makes the good old USA so great. I dislike that Esmail criticizes the system that gave him this opportunity, and fame. If you like man on man sex then this is the show for you. This show is not to my liking or taste, episode 1 had such promise, I am done. Apple is great and they are very understanding in refunding offensive shows.
So great and Special 😄
Every one must saw this series So interesting and have a grateful story. I'm waiting to season 3😍…
Riveting and odd. Probably the most insightful enactment of living inside a psychotic mind, if I had to guess. We all know psychosis is real; this makes us understand it better and perhaps be much more empathetic as we watch it wrapped like candy in the drama of the hackers' world.
Think hackers meets fight club..worth the watch
Very interesting and really makes you think. After the pilot episode I promise you will get addicted!!!
I was so hocked on the show, I was not able to wait for the next episode.
Just finished Season 2, which is a pretty big step down from Season 1, and had to revise my rating downard. This show is pretty entertaining and Rami Malek is very good in it; however, creatively the story is totally unoriginal and is an at times word-for-word rip-off of Fight Club. The creative infringement bothered me a little in the first season, but the 2015 update to the FC story was novel enough to keep me interested. But, to continue to borrow wholesale from the FC story for the heart of Season 2 just seems lazy. This show needs to bring some original story telling and original social critiques before it's worth recommending.
So I saw the commercial and was like, I got to see this, N ever since the first episode, wow!
Poignant statement on everything that is wrong with society. Wish I knew someone like Eliot.
I LOVE THE SHOW AND I LOVE RAMI MALEK. HE;S DOING REALLY GOOD IN THIS SHOW AND I CANT WAIT UNTIL SEASON 2 NEXT YEAR!
It truly is an amazing show. At times, very confusing but defintely is one of the superb shows out there. Fantastic writing and casting.
I read about the buzz with interest, since most reviewers made the point that this show actually does a fairly accurate depiction of computers and code. So, I watched it. And yes, it shows *lines of code*! Not the stuff that makes computer people cringe when they watch any show that involves using a computer. But even better than the more accurate computer representations was the story. It's complicated, often morally ambiguous, and makes a point of examining the concept of identity on many different levels (who we appear to be vs who we really are vs who we wish to be). I can't wait for season 2!
Rami Malek is fantastic, I loved this series and cannot wait for more, however it hits hard on topics that are to painstakingly true about our social media and the technology era, so BE WARNED: You'll have to be willing to face the truth about the Social Media empire
Good stuff, but don’t go too fast. Give yourself some time to breathe between episodes. There aren’t many laughs and it gets somewhat ponderous when taken in too great bites.
I should have known when my alcoholic friend said this was the greatest show on now. I really hope that people are not as apocalyptic as this and can relate to more positive proactive reactions to whatever grievances they might have to their environment/society.. At episode 5 I’m thinking - Do I want to cheer this guy on. No… For any of you who cheered on the drug dealer pot pushing MOM on weeds go right ahead and watch.. I have to say the work of the actors is great… reason for two stars
I was skeptical about this show at first, but after one episode I was hooked! This season is absolutely amazing and stunning in every way. Rami Malek is superb as Elliott and I honestly can't wait for season 2!
I'm a Christian, but even if you're not, you should read this. MR. ROBOT isn't simply a show where the creators want to provoke discussion over trending social issues (like Occupy Wall Street, or Crony Capitalism), but rather MR. ROBOT actually IS the personification and victim of its own hypocritical criticisms, and its creators don't seem to even be aware of it. For example, it's a show that attacks capitalism and the free market enterprise, while being produced, marketed and ultimately sold in a free capitalistic society in which it can be created and sold in the first place. It seems to confuse capitalism with greed, just like Occupy does. It also features a Muslim woman (part of the hacker group), which indicates that they're open and tolerant to religious groups, and then uses "Jesus Christ" and "G.D." as curse words EVERY chance they get (blasphemy). Can you say, ironic hypocrisy? I bet they wouldn't use Muhammad's name as a curse word. If "Entertaining" is your only gauge for what you "Like", then you'll love this dark, disturbing, David Fincher-style TV show. My hope and prayer, though, is that you'll come to your senses and see that the younger generation today is being targeted with lies, packaged smoothly in the form of entertainment. It's indoctrination through TV.
