Great show but...You can get the season for 6.99 on Amazon. I have both Amazon and Apple TV and spending 19.99 on a History channel show on ITunes is absurd. Especially when they are airing the third season now and this price is for season 1. This is a rip off.Score: 4/5

Best survival show I've seen in a long time.No joke they are alone, it was hard for me to believe that right away thinking to myself "yeah there is just a camera crew standing by" but as you watch the show you quickly realize that they're truly Alone. Suspenseful at times but very rugged, it shows the degrading process of the human body and spirit when you are out in the wilderness alone with Mother Nature. Very good survival show with no tricks or gimmicks, no games to play to earn food or tools... Give it a watch, you will want to keep watching to see how these guys survive!.Score: 5/5

Scary and Real10 men had to do their own camera video and we were pretty much afraid for them because they had to sleep alone with no one else. Picture yourself if you can do this really alone in the deep forest. What I like about this show is the beauitful scene view, movement, sounds, clean and simple. There's no talking host, just 10 men do their video diary. So, Im looking forward to see the Season 2. Good work!.Score: 5/5
Excellent show.The first episode may seem slow to start but you have to consider there are 10 men to squeeze into a 45 minute episode. Once they start tapping out, more attention can be paid to those that remain, making the show get better as it progresses. The biggest plus to Alone is that the History channel gets out of the way and lets the story play out as it happens. Each man films his own experience and there's no fluff or time-consuming show gimmicks--just guys in the woods trying to see who can last the longest to win the prize. The unforgiving environment of Vancouver Island is a perfect setting for men to test their survival skills and their mental fortitude. The rainforest environment and the man eating predators are a constant. This is a show you can sink your teeth into. Thank you History Channel, for doing it the right way. UPDATE: I just watched episode 10. Seeing these men grow and change as human beings is even more compelling than the survival aspects. What an excellent show..Score: 5/5

BEST SURVIVAL SERIES ON TVThis is such an exciting adventure.. Each of the ten participants is dropped off all alone in a woodland wilderness 5 or 10 miles away from each other. There is not even a camera crew, just 4 cameras await each competitor at their spot. Most are near a Pacific inlet or cove but of course, drinking water (and food) must be located. Animals like black bears, cougars and wolves are abundant in the area but no one has a gun---just a knife. The suspense hangs heavy because the last man standing (without tapping out) wins half a million dollars. SO interesting, scary and loaded with real plot twists. I LOVE this series!
