Extremely DramatizedAs a member of the Greek community, I was not hazed in any way. Yes, hazing does happen. However, this was so extreme that I can't fathom anyone truly going through this. The ending was also a terrible cliffhanger. It's a shame almost all media of Greek life is negative..Score: 2/5
Truth about Greek lifeI saw this movie by chance and was totally blown away. I was in a Greek house in college and since graduating have distanced myself from that community and those memories... it seems like fun at the time, but in truth, there's a lot of darkness there. Lord of the Flies for our TimeI have seen Haze twice and both times was shaken and moved by the story. The cast is young and mostly new to movie making, but they succeeded way beyond expectations, to make a movie that is powerful and even unnerving in its message. Must Watch!I've had the opportunity to see HAZE on the big screen twice. It's gritty, captivating, funny, sexy, misogynistic and appalling all at the same time. This is a great full-length ride through the rituals of "Greek" college life. A sophisticated screen-play tells the story of two brothers at odds with each other over pledging to a fraternity known for egregious hazing practices and the films voyeuristic-like point of view makes you feel like you're watching as a fly on the wall while all the debauchery goes down.
