Filmmakers Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey chronicle a year in the lives of an Alaskan brown bear named Sky and her cubs, Scout and Amber. Their saga begins as the bears emerge from hibernation at the end of winter. As time passes, the bear family must work together to find food and stay safe from other predators, especially other bears. Although their world is exciting, it is also risky, and the cubs' survival hinges on family togetherness.

Horrible “Disneyfication"While the “documentary" was nicely filmed and had some information content, it was also a horrible anthropomorphic depiction of Alaskan wildlife. The voice-over was nearly unbearable (ha!); and apart from that, there were obvious reversals in the timeline to make a "better story”.
Basically, please have this recut by someone from BBC, and have somebody with a biology background provide an informative description of what’s going on. I can’t even imagine the hurt the camera crew must feel (hopefully with some offset due to financial returns to them?)..MbaudisScore: 2/5
