Academy Award® nominee Quvenzhané Wallis (Best Actress, Beasts of the Southern Wild, 2012) stars as Annie, a young, happy foster kid who’s also tough enough to make her way on the streets of New York. But everything’s about to change when the hard-nosed tycoon and New York mayoral candidate Will Stacks (Jamie Foxx) makes a thinly-veiled campaign move and takes her in. Stacks believes he’s her guardian angel, but Annie’s self-assured nature and bright, sun-will-come-out-tomorrow outlook on life just might mean it’s the other way around.
An orphan in a facility run by the mean Miss Hannigan, Annie believes that her parents left her there by mistake. When a rich man named Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks decides to let an orphan live at his home to promote his image, Annie is selected. While Annie gets accustomed to living in Warbucks' mansion, she still longs to meet her parents. So Warbucks announces a search for them and a reward, which brings out many frauds.

RacistYeah this movie is racist.... I mean this movie is like if a movie came out about about the civil rights movement using white actors!!! I mean think about the response by the black community!!! This movie is very discriminatory against whites. I mean that's literally all it is. It took an amazing classic with a white red haired girl and other white characters and replaced it with a black girl and other black characters. This movie is also very poorly done, bad acting, Cameron Diaz hardly compared to the Miss hanagan from the classic. This movie had no heart and no charm. I hate it with a burning passion..Score: 1/5

Its a wonderful movie and I really liked Cameron Diaz in it.
