Words Cannot Describe.The editing. The directing. The writing. The acting. Everyone is on their 'EMMYs' game when it comes to this show. Jean Marc Vallee was the reason I started watching it along with Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson. But as soon as I saw Eliza Scanlen and the rest of the amazing cast, in episode one, I knew this show was only going to solidify its status. Getting deeper: Amy Adams method acting makes everything feel so real, you feel like you are drinking every drink she takes. The feelings portrayed between her mother and her also is so well acted, you feel like you could here a pin drop when they are in the same room together. Jean Marc Vallee once again takes this book and uses his magical skills of directing and editing to make a show portray memories in a GREAT way. As well as his music selection, it all ties together in a satisfying 8 episode series. I wasn't aware of who Marti Noxon was but I definitely do now after seeing the fantastic book to screen writing she has done. Patricia Clarkson never disappoints me but I feel like this is her best work yet. She REALLY showed her skills and through a simple disapproving glance that she gives Camille throughout the show.. I appreciated her all the more. Eliza Scanlen is the perfect Amma. I didn't think I would like this character but by the end of episode one I loved her. Her ability to show SO many different personalities and to be constantly evolving is great. Eliza's ability to make you think you know everything about Anna's personality only to show you another depth proves that she is here to stay. I cannot wait to see what she does next. ALL IN ALL GIVE EVERYONE EMMYs AND I WILL FEEL SATISFIED. Everyone deserves it..Score: 5/5

W O WThe book left me gobsmacked, and the TV series was no different. Amy Adams was incredible, as was the whole cast. Beautiful, dark, and disturbing. (and make sure you watch 'til the end of the credits on the final episode- there is a hidden scene in there- unreal).Score: 5/5
