Working with what they had!Season 2 has been amazing though I had my doubts at the beginning. Ruby rose left the show after season 1 and I thought that without Kate Kane, Batwoman would fall short and pretty much fail. The story line of the season is wacky and always has me wanting more, not to mention that Jevicia Lesilie brings a much needed more fun personality to the show while clicking with the other characters as Ryan wilder. By the end of the second season, Ryan Wilder is my Batwoman. Sure she’s not from the classic comics but if you need a superhero, she’s it..Score: 5/5

Major Step Up**Most of the one star reviews lost in the “politics” of the show seem to be confused about the purpose of super heroes. Which is standing up for those who need help.** The new Batwoman is pretty incredible. She brings great energy while merging in with the cast well. Lesbian lead?It will show a straight couple kiss but not a gay couple that the lesbian main character is part of? If you’re going to have a gay main character maybe let them be noticeably gay instead of patting yourselves on the back for diversity you don’t have the guts to live up to. If they’re worried about alienating a straight audience they shouldn’t, anyone bothered by that wouldn’t and shouldn’t be watching this show anyway.
