History of weaponsThis series gives you the history of weapons systems. It is very educational and a must have for that military enthusiat on your christmas list. I watched every episode and immediately bought the second season. An educator could teach a course just from this series..Score: 5/5

Very interesting it captures your interest. It's interesting to see what our military is capable of and to be able to view the equipment that our troops are using in war and in training. These are great videos to view, and I enjoyed them. I'm sure if your interested in our militarys techonology (at least what they are letting you see) you will enjoy these videos..Score: 4/5

FluffThis show is nothing but fluff. fancy pictures. no real information. like most tv these days. this is not worth the money. im not complaining about itunes. i love itunes. this show is not worth watching for free..Score: 1/5

History Lessons, great educational valueYou will find after seen any of this episodes, that the socio-political aspects that shaped the history of the 20th century are reflected in each and every one of the races to achieve and improve every military gadget. As you lear about the basic physics and mechanics of things you learn about the motivation and stream of ideas of the men involved in developing this things..Score: 4/5

Great Show!Just bought the show recently, it was great. The technology behind weapons is incredible. This show shows the evolution of weapons from the early Stone Age/Middle Ages up to the 21 Century..Score: 5/5

Great Show!I love this show! I watch it very frequently, and I love how they show you many things that would interest a person about weapons. But I have a question/comment, on the episode, sniper rifles, they said some false things. They said the "Barrett AS50". First of all, Barrett is the manufacturer of the m107 50 cal. And second, the maker of the AS50 is Accuracy International. Also, on the episode rapid fire, they said the future assault rifle was the MP7! WTF? The MP7 is a PDW with a half pistol, half rifle round (it's tiny.) Also the range of it is like 200 meters, which is way too short for an assaultr rifle. And it's accuracy can't be as well as a full\-blooded rifle, because of it's short barrel. Gosh, weaponology needs to realize that most of what they say are false. Just to make that clear. Other than that, great show!!.Score: 4/5

Midly interestingMore interesting than reading it in a book, but the 45-minute shows are heavily padded with endlessly repeating clips of awful stock footage. Many of the interview segments are also repeated over and over again. I would think the military would have much better footage available, and presumably, it would all be copyright free since it was paid for with taxes. The producers would have been better off working with the military to raise the production values as these are potentially good films for recruiting..Score: 1/5

No one likes old weaponsI thought that this series was going to be about all the modern,world-beating technologies on the contemporary battlefield. Instead I got 13 tedious and boring history lessons about each technology. The modern technology is only shown in the last 30 seconds of the show (No exaggeration). The credits were rolling only a few seconds after they started talking about the good stuff. I HATE shows like this, imo people watch these shows for technologies like the M1A2 Abrahms tank, NOT the WWI era converted tractor...seriously. If you're old and want to relive your youth, buy this. If you didn't serve in the Big Red One during WWII avoid this series like the plague..Score: 1/5
