My Kids are loving these as much as I did back then.I remember waiting till this came on on Saturdays. Simple, uncomplicated and just fun to watch. Even now, I get a kick out of watching them. Got my kids hooked on them as well. They love them. Can't wait for the other seasons..Score: 5/5
Superheros at their best!I had never even heard of this show until it was on TV one day. For a brief moment I forgot who Spiderman was, it was so good! This show is a great example of how superheroes are supposed to act. They only focus on others and their needs while not themselves. With some comedy, it has great villians and peril that really keeps you on your toes!.Score: 5/5
I Love the Super Friends!!The Super Friends is one of the funniest shows to watch because of the things that these superheroes say and do.. If you're a comics fan then this is a must buy!! You may also want to checkout the first season of Challenge of the Super Friends which aired five years later and introduces the evil Legion of Doom!.Score: 4/5
Super Friends vs villains & misdirected mad scientist-types! Features Wendy, Marvin, & WonderdogThis is the original, first season of the show to air, and I seriously doubt they had any idea what a phenomenon the show would become. These episodes had a very different quality from the later more (action-oriented, otherworldly) episodes. There was fun character development, the world seemed a little simpler, and there were often morals to the story. Many of the "villains" were people with good intentions but the wrong way of making a point. The "junior" Super Friends, Wendy & Marvin(who pre-dated the WonderTwins Zan & Jayna) didn't have super powers, but they had lots of personality and a sense of adventure. Wendy, it was revealed in the comics, was Batman's niece (but Bruce Wayne had no siblings!?), Marvin was a huge fan of Wonder Woman, thus he introduced the heroically named Wonderdog (a highlight for many young viewers). The high profile DC superstars were all present and accounted for: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Robin, and Aquaman. Interestingly, one of these episodes has the only appearance by Green Arrow from the entire Super Friends run in all of its incarnations (if I recall correctly). These original episodes have such a charming quality to them. I love it!.Score: 5/5

This is the original!I am 52 here in 2018. This is the show in the 70's that we woke up early on Saturday mornings in the early 70's to watch. Say what you will about it, but they don't make shows like this anymore. That's Casey Kasem as Robin, and the narrator is Ted Knight. Remember those voices. It doesn't get any better than this for folks of my age. These episodes are stuck in my head. Enjoy!.Score: 5/5
