It's fake, why do you like it?I wish I knew why people liked this show. It is advertised as a reality show but it is completly fake. I admit it.....The Hills is my Guilty Pleasure!!!!!Ok. What's so exciting about a bunch of rich spoiled brats tyring to make it in the fashion industry and become a part of the L.A. social scene...not much but it's still pretty entertaining. Its definitely NOT the best show on television. Its obviously NOT an accurate description of what 'real' real people would go through trying to break into the industry as relative unknowns but...as much as I try to find something else to watch I cant get enough of the predictable, contrived, partially scripted drama of these 'real' people. Even my 40-year old boss wants to talk about the latest episodes on our coffee break :/ This is meant to be more like a soap opera----so try something like the fashionista diaries if you're looking for a more realistic depiction of fashion industry interns..Score: 3/5

Ho humAs a long time fan of the hills i find that the heidi/spencer/lauren drama is overdone and that the lo/audrina drama is too phony. I think the producers feel they need to constantly have drama, but for me, watching the girls at their careers and doing normal things is just as entertaining as some more staged lined between spencer and heidi..Score: 3/5

Has potentialThe premier of the fourth season was not outstanding, but it was also not horrible. It does have potential and can escalade into the entertaining drama we all know and love. Looking forward to next weeks episode! The tension between Lo and Audrina is very real, and as Lauren said things WILL get worse before they get better. In the first episode we also meet Lauren's beau, DUHG - who knows how long he will be around for! Team Lo.Score: 4/5
Ok the second Season was betterI love this show it is packed with drama! I think it would be awesomer if Heidi dumped Spencer though he is a Player and she knows it! Lauren and Heidi should become friends again. The second season was better when Lauren and Heidi where friends Lauren and Brody where together and Spener was not as Abnoxious. I love the hills. and it isn't for stupid people. i know lots of intelligent people (who ARENT in straitjackets) who watch the hills...it is just very addictive. Shut Spencer Up!!I love the Hills but if I have to listen to Spencer whinning on any more I'll scream!!! He needs to get over his obsession with hating Lauren - it seems to have taken over his life. Oh and what about his whinning because Heidi's sister wiped some of his tv programmes????
