FINALLY!!!!Ever since HBO was added to iTunes I've been waiting for this show. It is the GREATEST show to ever grace the television screen. It is brutally honest, hilarious and completely believable. You know these people. Some are friends, some are family members. From the beginning you realize you're seeing something very daring, brave and without boundaries. The writers were obviously not influenced by what is "correct" and what is not. It tackles real family issues, drugs, racism, homosexuality, adolescense, age, frustarationand overall it proves time and again that any day alive is a good day no matter what the circumstances. This show will make you laugh, it will make you cry but best of all, it'll make you think of what's important and what little precious time we have and that worrying about the little things has never truly been important. It's the truth.This is the greatest show ever. No contest, no disagreeing. This IS. Better than The Sopranos, more addicting than Weeds and whatever new crop of shows Showtime comes up with (though Dead Like Me ran a close second to this)--this is one of the original premium shows that put HBO on the map, and just cannot be beat, pure and simple. The best Tv Show in the history of television.Six Feet Under is the unbearably emotional ride that changed the way I looked at Tv and life after watching it's 5 seasons. The way it potrays death is unlike anything anyone has ever seen before, and I'm not going to spoil much else if you haven't watched it. Definately worth your attention if you haven't seen it before. And a word of comfort, the ending to the show is also the best thing you'll ever see in your lifetime..Score: 5/5
Best TV show ever. Period.Now I'm a big fan of both The Wire and The Sopranos. But I'm unlikely to experience the events portrayed in those shows whereas.... The acting is superb. To pick out one member of the cast seems unfair, but Frances Conroy needs special mention. Watch it through to the final episode. The best show with the best ending to a show ever.
