In a record-breaking event, the series' 200th episode brings back some familiar faces like JAMES MARSTERS as Brainiac. In an attempt to cheer up Clark, Lois convinces him to attend their five-year high school reunion in Smallville. A visit back to the home of the Crows has Clark remembering old times with Lana (past series star KRISTIN KREUK) and Chloe, while Lois is furious that no one remembers her five days as a student. Brainiac 5.0 (Marsters) uses his Legion ring to visit from the future and takes Clark through his past, present and future. He shows Clark what really happened the night Jonathan died, Oliver's current pain and Clark's future at the Daily Planet with Lois and his role as Earth's favorite red and blue superhero..

Finale well desrevedI could go on about how towards the 8th season everything went down hill which may be true. But the series finale was awesome. My only complaint is how come there was never a full body shot of him in the actual suit? Great twists and terms and bringing back Lex was nice. Long live Superman.Score: 4/5
Return to excellenceThose of you who, like me, have followed this show since Season 1, have appreciated the subtle references to the DC Universe at nearly every turn. Then, during Gough and Millar's final season as developers, the show lost it's luster. Fast. To those of you who've waded through seasons 7, 8 and 9 and maintained the faith ... well, you will be rewarded. This season has been simply amazing. Again the series returned to the subtle references to the DC Universe and each episode was backed full of the classic meronyms that made the first five seasons so incredible. If I were to have any complaints ... well, the only complaint I can think of is the casting done for Lex Luthor in the opening episodes. Very disappointing. I understand Michael Rosenbaum was unavailable for the start of the season, but to pass off the actor they had take his place as a much older version of Lex ... well, that was pretty bad. At any rate, enjoy the show. You'll enjoy this season the same way you loved the first five!.Score: 5/5
