Pam learns that J.R. has been misleading her with false rumors about Mark, which makes her suspicious of the reports that he was recently seen in Hong Kong. She also refuses to join Cliff and Jamie in their fight for a share of Ewing Oil because she doesn't want to hurt Bobby, whom she surprises by letting him know that she hopes for a reconciliation..
