Deadshot returns to Starling City after taking down a U.S. Ambassador and six others overseas. By keeping tabs on A.R.G.U.S.'s manhunt for the assassin, Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity learn that a sting operation is underway to capture Deadshot – alive. Best show ever!!!!This is my favorite TV show ever! Loved this season! Deathstroke is awesome in this season! I'm pretty sure that he's in season 2 and will e a regular appearance! anyone else think he should come to Starling City and fight Ollie? I think he should. I would e awesome. And Count Vertigo will be in the second season I think. Overall if you haven't seen this show what are you doing on the TV? Go watch it for a season. It's great! Arrow...a.k.a. Green Arrow and who is he?Am I the only one that realize that this is actually the DC Character that Green Arrow appears in 2419 issues. Also, a playboy who inherited millions of dollars when his parents died, Oliver Queen never gave much back to society and lived his life how he wanted; of course he made many rivals and enemies. After being pushed overboard by one of his own employees on his boat, Oliver was presumed dead and lost at sea, but, unknown to the world, he had survived and was lost in a deserted island. Oliver had a talent for archery and using his own initiative built a bow made out of spare parts of a broken generator; using his makeshift bow Oliver began hunting in order to eat. Spending weeks alone on the island, Oliver began to search and found a small settlement with no people. He soon tried to retrieve water from the well but found that the people of this village had been killed and their remains thrown in. Oliver was shocked by the horror of this action and knew that those responsible needed to be brought to justice. Later a plane came towards the island and Ollie began to signal it; they opened fire. Using his bow Ollie managed to gain the upper hand and downed the plane. He was able to get off the island when some drug smugglers mutinied and took over a cargo ship. Dressed in a leafy disguise he had made his way on the island, and covering his eyes with a mask of grease from the anchor chain, he managed to capture the mutineers and save the crew. It turned out that they were the drug smugglers who had killed the islanders, picking up his bow Ollie began fighting back and overpowered them. His first taste for crime fighting came when he handed the drug smugglers over to the police and returned to a world he was set on changing for the better. Using his vast fortune, he began to create various trick arrows to use under his new mantle. These include the rope arrow, the electric arrow, the explosive arrow, etc. Ollie did not stop there. Later on in his early years, he also built an Arrowcar, an Arrow Plane, and he even used the basic idea of the Bat-signal, appropriating it into the Arrow Signal. Green Arrow was joined by a younger counterpart named Roy "Speedy" Harper. Speedy was also a skilled archer and the two were a formidable team and worked together for quite awhile. Green Arrow became a much darker character after he lost his fortune and became more in tune with the streets he protected, even growing a goatee that is now famous; it was during this time that Ollie became openly left-wing in his political views. Each episode reminds me of the Dark Knight...I've never reviewed a TV show ever but Arrow is just too good. After the Dark Knight trilogy finished I didn't think anything would be comparable but here I am watching Arrow and I'm thinking to myself 'I feel like I'm watching one of Christopher Nolan's Batman films'. Each episode is so good and the flashbacks to the island are so intriguing. The season one finale felt just like the ending of The Dark Knight. Absolutely great work here I hope they keep it up in Season 2..Score: 5/5

Another missed opportunityWhat a waste of a concept. Terrible (and I mean god awful) actors! Casting based on looks is pathetic. To be fair they are given some of the most stilted, incomprehensible dialogue so maybe not entirely their fault. Not my cup of teaVery frustrating program. Slow and totally boring while being so predictable in so many places. I liked the concept but at the end of the first series felt I had wasted my time as well as money on watching it. Despite my criticism, I actually liked some of the actors and think they did well with what they had in terms of stilted dialogue, so for that it gets 3 stars and not the two I felt I first wanted to give it..Score: 3/5
Everything wrong with gritty reinterpretations in five episodesThis is the story of a man who got shipwrecked on an island for 5 years and therefore decided to hunt down and terrorise a list of people his father vaguely suggested might not be the nicest people. And he was on the island because his mother sabotaged their yacht to kill his father, and she also wants him dead for no apparent reason. Within days of returning home, Oliver Queen becomes a fully-equipped vigilante with all sorts of weapons that he had no possible way of obtaining alone, which he uses to kill countless henchmen in cold blood, threaten and extort people he doesn't understand and just generally cause pain and devastation in the world's most poorly lit docklands. He claims he's doing good, especially when he targets another vigilante who kills his own targets. But Oliver is also a killer, so there is no moral high ground and this is basically just a turf war. And he's incapable of keeping his escapades a secret; He's caught on CCTV placing his gear and recovering it. But the police let him off because the investigator had a personal grudge and no one else was available apparently, meaning that the only reason there are more than five episodes is that the police in this city are utterly incompetent. Arrow is visually dour, morally repugnent, needlessly convoluted and full of plot holes..Score: 1/5

Awesome plotSome people who have found the plot silly haven’t watched the full series and have just based judgement on a couple of episodes.
