My home town show!My wife and I have really gotten into this show; not to mention I love the fact that we can point out where certain shoots took place. Tryon Palace, the cemetary.....to much fun! Historical EntertainmentI was intrigued how Fox could put a modern spin on a classic tale of horror... Ever since episode 1, season 1, I could not stop watching what events were to happen next. Especially the episode involving the Sin Eater and how this character is developed-and who he really is! I cannot wait for season2, great job Fox!.Score: 5/5
Great Show!! Too Much extra "behind the scenes" crapI'l probably end up paying a little more, but rather than clicking "Buy Season Pass", I went through and just bought the episodes. Five Star...Everything!When casting a show that will ask an audience to use its powers to suspend disbelief, casting is one of the most important aspects. Mission as Crane was a truly inspired choice; the "just right" blend of charm, intelligence and yes, subtle comedic timing are just some of the strong elements that make up the enduring glue of this show. Follow that with other wonderful actors, a rooting in actual historic events (with a twist or two, here and there), a superb writing team, a terrific narrative that does not limit itself to one single theme, addd room to grow (and, dammit, a longer season!), and you have all the makings of the great potential of this show. If this whip-smart and delightfully tweaked retooling of a legend I grew up learning while living in New York State, after just a frustratingly limited airing of only 10 episodes (but with passionate wishful thinking, appreciation and delicious anticipation for future episodes) has me watching and re-watching already, think what could be accomplished with another (longer) season! No changes or fine tuning needed; this is one horse that left the gate at full speed and never lost it's footing. Let's raise a glass to this new thoroughbred and pray we are indulged with much, much more! Long live #Sleepynatural!.Score: 5/5
