An aging comic icon, Jackie (Robert De Niro) has seen better days.a Despite his efforts to reinvent himself and his comic genius, the audience only wants to know him as the former television character he once played.a Already a strain on his younger brother (Danny DeVito) and his wife (Patti LuPone), Jackie is forced to serve out a sentence doing community service for accosting an audience member. While there, he meets Harmony (Leslie Mann), the daughter of a sleazy Florida real estate mogul (Harvey Keitel), and the two find inspiration in one another resulting in surprising consequences.

WowThe only positive thing I can say about this film is that it is slightly preferable to having pink eye. The problem is that when De Niro made Meet the Parents way back when, he thought he was funny and could carry these types of roles. Yeah, he was funny in that movie but he has doubled down on comedies so many times since then and every time it has been a disaster..Score: 1/5

Suprisingly funny and vulgarI watched this with my family not know anything about it: seeing no previews and reading zero reviews. I laughed and hid my head and grimaced and laughed at scenes I didn't think I would laugh at. My whole family did. It's a great and unexpectedly fun experience. Robert De Niro, Danny Devito, Leslie Mann, and Patti LuPone, actually every single actor in it are spot on..Score: 5/5
