Cuando los integrantes de un espectáculo de vodevil se trasladan a Oriente Medio, su cantante, Hazel Moon, consigue un trabajo en un café local. Los "caballeros" Peter Johnson y Harvey Garvey son contratados para actuar, pero su actuación se inicia con una pelea y ambos terminan en la cárcel. Luego de escaparse de la prisión, Peter y Harvey se dirigen a la capital y allí conocen al príncipe Rama, quien ha sido destituido de su trono por Nimativ. La pareja urde un plan para seducir a Nimativ. Al ser su debilidad las mujeres rubias, Harvey se pone una peluca rubia y se viste de mujer. Ya disfrazado, se reúne con el rey Nimativ, pero éste se enamora de Hazel y logra hipnotizar a Peter revelando sus planes. Peter es encarcelado, mientras que Hazel es hipnotizada para ser una de las esposas de Nimativ.
