Five years, eight months, 12 days...and counting. That’s how long Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) has been devising the biggest heist of her life. She knows what it’s going to take—a team of the best in their field, starting with her partner-in-crime Lou Miller (Cate Blanchett). Together, they recruit a crew of specialists: jeweler Amita (Mindy Kaling); street con Constance (Awkwafina); expert fence Tammy (Sarah Paulson); hacker Nine Ball (Rihanna); and fashion designer Rose (Helena Bonham Carter). The target is a cool $150 million dollars in diamonds—diamonds that will be around the neck of world-famous actress Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway), who will be centerstage at the event of the year, the Met Gala. The plan is rock solid, but everything will need to be flawless if the team is going to get in and get away with the ice. All in plain sight.

WHAT A. JOKEEEEE
This is a great movie. Everyone in it is a star and adds to the overall enjoyment of the movie. Highly recommend
A poor script. A movie devoid of any real excitement or display of talent. It’s a shame these talented women signed up for this.
Really, really enjoyed it.
A movie as bland and cheerless as poor Sandra Bullock's hyper-botoxed features. The Ghostbusters reboot already showed that simply turning a guy movie into a grrrl power one isn't enough, unless all you're trying to do is earn some feelgood points in the Me Too age. You still need an entertaining story and a director with some pizzazz. Gary Ross is no Soderbergh. He's more Ron Howard. The stars look great wandering around this aimless muddle, but except for a lot of nice outfits and a few choice moments, mostly provided by Blanchett or Hathaway, it's a dull, mediocre slog.
Let's review what made the last 3 Ocean's movies great: 1. Character development and onscreen chemistry (we get no back stories of some of our main characters and the relationship between George and Brad is probably the best bromance in the genre). 2. An impossible heist made even more difficult with a mid-movie plot twist (yes, there was some of this, but it was so poorly developed it seemed to have no impact to the plan or the outcome). 3. A protagonist who you would go into battle for vs an antagonist who you couldn't wait to see taken down (this films antagonist wasn't so much a bad guy as he was a patsey). 4. A heist plan that had you guessing the whole time and a plot twist in the end that blew you away (again, there was a twist in the end that seemed more thrown in at the last minute so you neigher cared or was blown away. What you did get from this movie that was missing in the other Ocean's movies was an awful closing story about how each of the characters spend their earnings. I get that this movie was appealing to the more feminine crowd but because none of the characters were developed you didn't care about how the characters spent their earnings. Instead, take a look at Ocean's 11 where it shows the guys outside the casino they just robbed, taking it all-in in silence before the scene quietly fades away. Money and time not well spent.
I watched it 4 times in the span of 24 hours... watching it right now actually, but I absolutely love the movie! It is so interesting every time
the best movie ive ever seen in a while
I love every woman in this movie, and out of my love, I am gibing this movie four stars instead of just three. Everyone LOOKS great. The clothes are on point. You couldn;t find a movie where the women are dressed better. the problem is this is supposed to be a clever comedy/drama and it is not. It is somewhere just below par with Ocean's 13. Oceans 12 was Catherine Zeta Jones' movie. The rest of the cast was there, but it was her moment to shine. She never looked better before or since. This movie was not that. I wanted the clever banter and edgy back and forth but it all seemed... tired. I wanted it to be better than it was. 4 out of 5 because I love these women,, but really 3 out of 5
It was ok. Glad I only paid $9.99.
Bring back the dudes this all female caste... total yawn fest 👎👎👎👎 and I’m not being Sexist like some of these idiots say! I’m basing my opinions on the fact that it just genuinely sucked!
I really expected better from this all star cast. The script was horribly one-dimensional and predictable. Not even a patch on the original Oceans movies. Don't waste your time on this.
This is a horrible remake trying to be an “Oceans” movie with a full female cast. It’s not horrible because of the females but because the script and playwright was aweful. Akin to the only female remake of ghostbusters which was also 👎🏼👎🏼
I loved the female cast
A very dull film. Two heavily plastic-surgeoned stars wearing way too much make up. The obligatory terrible fake accent (nowhere near as bad as wassisname’s pathetic cockney accent in the others with hilariously wrong rhyming slang which was just plain cringingly bad), but still awful - she’s got an English accent so why not use that instead of making her fake an Irish one (that she remembered to do only about half the time). Really though, it was just dull dull dull.
I guess that is the end of the franchise. It can’t get worse. By the way, had they all a nose job before filming?
Overall okay movie. It's predictable but fun to watch. I wish more went wrong for them.
J’ai vraiment aimé ce film avec une très belle branche d’acteurs. Il y a un très bon scénario avec une partie, selon moi humoristique. Je recommande vraiment ce film!
Wish I could give it 5 but those are for only the very very best. But I LOVED this. Many female favourites who did not fail to deliver once again.
This was truly bad in so many ways. I love Sandra Bullock but this was not her finest moment. Her expressionless face could have been the result of too much filler and botox. In fact, Blanchett came across wooden as well. What a waste of talent. The East Indian girl has no business being in show business. She has absolutely no talent. The Office was all she was ever semi-good at. It was a complete yawn!
