The problem is this movie should be categorized as a thriller — a very slow-burn thriller, as there was nothing truly all that horrific. Ad Hoc EchoA film you can tell was written for a theater stage in Chicago or LA. It is a great screenplay and the actors are excellent. I am assuming it was filmed during the pandemic: five main characters, a couple extras, two sets, a couple highway scenes. I would recommend watching it on a cold snowy winter night so that your living room becomes an extension of the stage; I should have watched it on huge flatscreen and not an iPad. The theme that everyone has some kind of skeleton in the closet wraps the story together. It kind of ends like the film Limbo..Score: 4/5
